Nice enough park tucked away in a neighborhood which is usually not a problem with parks but with this one it is. The parking is right next to road you drive in on and can be cramped. This next part is only based on experience with only 3 residents/ visitors of residents. The people who live near the park that I encountered were VERY rude, especially when they were driving up to their houses. One almost hit my car and would have if i didn't swerve out of their way. The other residents I encountered were in their cars on the road within the park limits and they were very visibly annoyed with the fact that they had to wait for 15 seconds for me to finish coming up the road before they could drive down to their place. I also witnessed a resident doing work in their yard and I saw three different people walk by that house and say hello to the resident, the resident gave them the dirtiest look turned around without saying anything to the first two people who greeted him. To the third person who dared say hello, I actually heard the resident say horribly mean things about this individual after the person was out of their earshot. It seems to me that if you hate being around people that much and you hate your home having to share space with the public why would you buy a house with a Park right next to it unless you thought that you got to have the park all to yourselves, however, nowhere do I see a sign that says this is a private park. As I said earlier, this does not reflect all residents who live there. I'm only talking about the encounters I had with a few residents, and they were indirect encounters mainly from my car. Just be aware that not everybody's going to be happy to see you at this park if they are driving on the road or live VERY close to the parking by the...
Read morePlacerville Rotary Park is a gem nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Surrounded by large trees, it offers a nice outdoors feel to escape from the indoors or city life. The clean and well-maintained bathrooms are a testament to the care put into this park. The picnic tables provide a great setting for an outdoor lunch, while the playground is nice treat for families with children. This park has limited parking on the street, which would be a challenge during a ballgame, but wasn’t an issue when we visited. Highly recommended for those yearning for a picnic in the woods while keeping some modern conveniences. We’ll be...
Read moreRotary Park Playground is a nice playground for kids, surrounded by tall pine trees. It’s very peaceful here, and the air feels fresh and clean. We rarely see other children when we visit—most of the time, we have the place to ourselves. There are swings and a few picnic tables, making it a good spot for a quiet outing. There’s also a baseball field nearby and plenty of parking.
However, I’m taking off one star because the restroom is always locked, which is really inconvenient for families...
