Two stars is a bit misleading as I come here often and I will continue to come. The smoothies are good and are usually made accurately and quickly. However, customer service skills are still lacking. This has happened multiple times in the past, but tonight it just pushed me to the point of making my comments here.
We walked in tonight instead of ordering using the app, it it's a beautiful night and we had nothing going on so we had some time kill. When we walked in, we walked up to the register to look at the menu, we stood there for a few minutes with the young man behind the counter just looking at us. Finally my wife said to him, "Are you ready?" His response was a head nod. We proceeded to order he asked "Anything else?", I responded with "no", he gave me my total and asked me if I wanted a receipt. There was no "Welcome, how may I help you" or any kind of greeting from any of the 5 people out so working. When our smoothies were ready, the girl that made them set then on the counter and walked away, not a word from her either.
On our way out, the young lady that was mopping the front of the store said "Enjoy the rest of your evening". I thanked her and my wife said politely, "Thank you for acknowledging us".
I'm sorry, but when working in any kind of customer service business, there should be some customer service! I am sorry we made you do some work!
Like I said, I will continue buying smoothies here until I either get too annoyed to do so, or until something comparable becomes available close to home. The only reason this place gets my business is because it is convenient. The story that I just shared is a very common...
Read moreupdate unfortunately this place has gotten much worse with time. After waiting 25 minutes for my smoothie I asked if they had misplaced my order. They scrambled around and determined they had misplaced my order. When I asked them to just refund my money they had to go into the back and prerform a committee meeting where the "manager" came back to inform me that I'd have to call customer service in order to get a refund. I'd like to think I remained pretty calm and wasn't asking for the moon by simply asking for my money back. They didn't offer to comp the smoothie their only suggestion was for me to spend more of my time by calling out to some customer service center. The "manager" even rolled her eyes at me when I requested that they figure out a way to provide me with a refund. I used to come here quite often and after a break for nearly a year I can see that I definitely won't come back. Totally unprofessional, unapologetic and I left with a free coupon which means I'll have to come back and spend another 30 minutes to get a simple smoothie. I'm absolutely disqusted by the level of unprofessionalism and might just have to write off the $5.49 because I can't stomach going back into a place that's so awful.

Read moreI don’t understand the pricing which was unclear reading their menu board. I received a text coupon for buy one get one half off and for $2 Red Hot Smoothie. My husband ordered a sandwich and smoothie. I then ordered a sandwich and thought I’d try the Red Hot Smoothie and thought it was $2 per the text I received per special on 2/13/18 and 2/14/18. The receipt showed that the smoothie was $2.49 and the text coupon special only took $1.25 off. When our food came, I pointed out our receipt and explained my text coupon which I had shown to the cashier upon ordering. I was told the receipt was correct, as my husband’s order was a “combo.” I was told that by ordering the smoothie with his sandwich, he was already getting the discount, so the buy one get half off couldn’t apply to my sandwich, and it had to apply to the lesser item which was the $2.49 Red Hot Smoothie which I ordered believing it was $2 which was the only reason I was trying it. There was nothing on their menu board mentioning a “combo” with a smoothie, and how this could negate the buy one get one half off when ordering two sandwiches. I like their smoothies, although not the Red Hot Smoothie as too sweet which I suspected before ordering, I won’t be coming here due to this experience.
