32 Degree Rooftop Bar — Restaurant in Plano

It's back!

Downtown Plano had fallen to cliquey hipster trash and homeless DART refugees in the past few years. Before that, for a time, mostly due in part to the then DJ and decent bar staff, this bar above Urban Crust was full of potential. By potential, I mean I could go there, push all the tables on the second story open air coverd patio and start a dance revolution. By the end of the night pulsating people would magically have assembled from all around. Then, it seemed to die. Shops opened. City Line came. I stopped in out of morbid desperation like texting a better-left-dead ex, and am ecstatic that, at least last night, the party had returned. It suffers from what most places in the northern suburbs are suffering as far as infestation, but with no cover charge, an actual ice bar, good music, great drinks, and cute chicks (ratios far in a guy's favor, as quality also usually is) that is an acceptable evil that could be much worse. Will definitely be back ewww earlier than five minutes before last call next weekend! Only reason for not giving four stars is that this place is small. Just a hair past 'so small everyone has an excuse to touch each other' and on the side where no one has the option not to, where you can tell who's dancing near you by the softness of their skin. When it works, and I gotta be close enough to the girls hair to smell it when I get a drink at the bar, or when a girl can keep bumping me on the dance floor with some laughable immunity, it's great. When the smelly guy believes that inch between you and her is where he should be, or the gangsta wanna-be's from the burbs come to act hard, it's annoying...

Male Bar tender with the ear rings and nail polish couldn't care less about customer service.If you are here for the rooftop view good luck, very limited space and i got here before the rush. You seat yourself in a very small sitting area. Nobody explains anything just sit down and figure it out type of atmosphere. Had to grab my own menu, ordered drinks. Only to have this bar tender spill a drink on my phone look at it and walk away without saying anything.The drink was probably the worst i ever had, way too much mixer and threw a handful of mints in the drink. I got up and left. Save YOUR MONEY DON'T WASTE IT HERE. I happily drove 40mins to Legecy West where you actually get good drinks and food with excellent...

This business is practicing sexism! So they have a "dress code" which is not posted at the entrance. They tell me as I enter the establishment at 11:00pm on a Sat night that if I had arrived before 10:00pm wearing my tank top I would be allowed to stay all night but because I arrived after 11:00pm I was NOT welcome and was kicked out! I was with a woman wearing the exact same type of tank top and she was allowed to stay! This type of sexist treatment was very insulting to me. I was there to spend a lot of money and to have a good time and was denied service because of a tank top. I will NEVER go there...
