Wow this Cafe has amazing pastry one could almost eat the baked goodies with your eyes, but I would like to say my 1st impression with the service was not as good . The stuff is not friendly and comes off a little rude.My sister raved about this place that I had to visit it after tasting their "Milk toast 🍞 bread" .
I visited on a Friday afternoon around 2pm the place was not crowded at all it had about 8 people in total including the stuff as well . There were 4 ladies that we're sitted on one of the tables they had ordered some smoothies and were already munching on their pastries . I walked over gazing at some of the delicious looking goodies, and one employee walked over to me didn't say hi or anything passed me and started adding more pastries.
I finally decided to pick the "milk bread " I had tasted before at my sister's house and walked over to the counter to pay, there was no one ahead of me and so I waited for the guy who was behind the counter to come check me out .He stood looking at me didn't say a word and continued to do what he was doing . I waited for 5 minutes and I knew he could clearly see I wanted to check out the bread that was in my hands . He looked at me again and I was just about to turn around and go return the bread on the shelf and walk out. That's when he walked over to help me . He took my money gave me change and walked right back to what he was doing.
That really just left a bad taste in my mouth considering that their pastry/bread is really good.I would suggest to the owner that training your stuff to be friendly goes a very long way. Your food can be so good but if the service sucks that is really gonna turn...
Read moreI bought a Tiramisu whole cake on 12/31/2021 from plano 85 bakery but when opened the box at home it came without sides decorations. I bought the same cake many times before and never had an issue. I came to Plano bakery on 01/07/2022 to talk about the issue and they just justified that had supplies shortage and cakes of Christmas and End Year were all unfinished and manager cannot do anything. I was very disappointed because I paid full price of the cake but manager was not interested in resolve the issue. It is not fair that the bakery is aware that cannot finish the cake but sell it at full price and doesn’t have interest in giving a discount or voucher. Bakery didn’t announce the shortage in the site informing that cake will be unfinished. No apologies, no nothing, was a short conversation that ended with manager saying that there is nothing that bakery can do. Read moreThe service I experienced from Justin was extremely disappointing. He showed no friendliness at all and barely responded when I asked questions. His attitude was completely unprofessional, acting as if he didn’t care whether I placed an order or not, pushing everything in a very impatient manner.
On top of that, he kept rushing us to order, even though we didn’t understand what the hurry was about. Instead of giving us time or helping us make a choice, he acted annoyed and pushed us as if we were wasting his time.
When I asked for clarification, all he kept saying was “I don’t know, I don’t know,” without making any effort to explain or repeat my order clearly. Instead of helping, he made the entire process confusing and frustrating.
What made it even worse was his facial expression: a cold, poker face, like I somehow owed him a fortune. This dismissive and arrogant attitude made me feel completely unwelcome as a customer.
Overall, Justin’s service was terrible, unfriendly, and unacceptable. This was one of the worst customer service experiences...
