bb.q Chicken Plano Spring Creek — Restaurant in Plano

I’m not first time having an order in the restaurant, but the waiter just pissed me off today. Although food is still good, the stew’s attitude is NOT ACCEPTABLE!

I ordered half & half whole chicken today. Due to it’s a to go order, I just tipped $2. When the food was ready at counter, I reached there to pick up. The male waiter, who worked in the afternoon, just threw the box on the plate in order to pack it. Then he casted the bag on the counter to me with an attitude like I owed him $1M.

Does that only when a customer who pays you higher amount of tips deserve your proper attitude?

In addition, I like the decoration in the restaurant. However, the waiter cannot keep table clean during non-busy hour in the afternoon. When I arrive, there is only one couple on the table while another table was not cleaned at corner. During the waiting time (around 10 mins after I placed order), another customers came in. Then 9 mins later, the following group got in. Since there were 3 table being used, the waiter was finally willing to clean up the trash. Why didn’t you do it ASAP when you were available before...

We went here for dinner on a Tuesday night and experienced the most annoying and disrespectful story. The table next to us was an Asian family of 6, 3 generations, the grandparents, the parents and 2 kids. They were put into the corner of the restaurant and tried to ordered 2-3 portions. I overheard that they already ate and just wanted to try out the food. One of the server came and raised his voice at them saying they had to order more. It was some kind of policy that you have to order a minimum amount of food with certain number of people. The server looked very frustrated and angry. The portion is big, and one order can feed 2 easily. Plus, the restaurant was not busy, but they declined to serve this family. It was a casual restaurant, I did not understand why they have to make it so hard for a family to try some food. Totally upset with what we saw. I regret did not speak up for them at the moment. BBQ Chicken is little pricey, but it's easily the best fried chicken I've ever had. It has a very unique flavor, and it's not oily. It's always very fresh and has the perfect crispiness to it. My favorites are the Original and Soy Garlic

The menu is a little weird and confusing to navigate. For example, you order a "whole chicken", and it gives you a choice between Medium and Large .. which makes no sense in terms of a whole chicken. It's just the number of chicken pieces in the box, but it doesn't tell you how many that is, or which pieces you get.

When you choose the combo, you can only choose between two flavors (spicy or original), you can't choose any other flavors.

Also, there are no choices for white or dark meat, it's just all mixed together. I don't mind that, but some people might.

Either way, the food is really good and that's what matters.. so 5 stars for the awesome chicken.
