Might be under new management and if so I will be finding a new pizza place to order from. I have been ordering from here for many years. Usually about every other week. I called this time and got a new voice. Strange as there is usually the same two guys (sons of what I thought was the owner) but no big deal. Order my usual. They usually tell you it will be 45mins but I get it in about 30. This time it was maybe 20. Fast delivery should be good but it seems like a pizza should take about 15 mins to bake and another 10 to get to my house.

Well the driver shows up hands me my pizza and drink then just stands there. I always pay credit card and normal guys there know this and bring the receipt for me to sign and give me my copy. I tell driver that I paid with a CC and he said they told him it was cash. I tell him no and he says just a minute and goes to his car. He seemed to look under his car and picks something up. Comes back to me and said here sign this. While it seemed to have my order it says the CC was Visa and I paid with AMEX so I told him I would not sign that receipt plus I needed the correct on with a copy. He was annoyed and asked me if he should bring back the correct receipt. I said yes of course. He said he would be back.

I immediately call the pizza place and get the same guy that took my order and he said he had the receipt there and asked if I wanted someone to bring it to me. I said yes. I ate my pizza and it was a little under cooked but still ok. 30 mins go by and still no receipt. I call again get a different guy, tell him the story and he says the driver isn't back. He asked if I still wanted the receipt. I said yes. To make a long story longer. After another 20 mins no one brought the receipt. So now I decide to go up there and talk to the guy that I had believed was the owner because he is always there. I arrived to see all new employees and low and behold that original driver is working the counter. I walk up there and he said to me "So you want your receipt?" I say YES you were suppose to bring it to me. He says "I told you I would bring it when there was another order in your area" I told him no you didn't and he said well it doesn't matter. Needless to say no tip (I was worried that he had added a tip...

Update: ordered from them tonight. There was an issue with delivery zone but they made an exception since I was barely outside the zone. The pizza was delivered fast and hot. It was so good! Everyone has bad days and I'm so glad I decided to try them again. Definitely will be back!

Tonight I was at work at an ER and decided to try this place and order pizza for me and a coworker. The pizza ended up being 20 min late so I called Slice, who is who the delivery was through. They said it would arrive soon and the restaurant included a dessert. The pizza ended up being a total of 30 min late even though they are 5 min away. He apologized but when I took it to the back, it was cold, like it had been sitting for quite awhile. We ended up having to put it in the microwave to heat it up. I went ahead and called since Slice said to if it was cold since that was a concern of mine being so late. The restaurant was going to make it right by sending a new one, unfortunately, I told slice just to tell them to keep it cause my break was done and since the pizza was 30 min late, that cut into my dinner (cause I work the night shift). I think it was a nice gesture but would have preferred it another time or refund. If another had been sent right then, it would have just been another cold one since my break was done. The pizza, from what I can tell would probably be one of my favorite pizza places if it was hot. Not a fan of cold pizza. I will be trying again another time and hopefully it will be a better night. I know things happen so I'm not mad. Just wish it would have been fresh! I appreciate the effort they tried to make, unfortunately didn't work with my job, so like I said, another day or refund would have been more ideal. The dessert ended up being amazing! I think this place is wonderful, just happen to be one of...

My family and I have been dining with Angelo Vito's for years. We absolutely LOVE the food and we would consider it one of the best places in town... However, we had a horrible experience tonight! We placed an order online for Pickup since the inside is closed due to quarantine. We called the restaurant when we arrived and we were told that our order was ready and to come up to the door and they would bring it out. My husband waited at the door for 25 minutes while person after person was handed their food. Literally, 5, that's right, FIVE! different people came out and asked if he had been helped and asked for them name on the order. We were about to pin a sticky note to someone's shirt with our name. After finally giving up he headed back to the car and told them to forget it. They finally brought the order out to our car, yet when we got it home we discovered we were missing the two sides of meatballs. This may not seem like much to some. It's only $6, right? But we are already short on money due to COVID and decided to treat our family tonight and to be treated like this is unacceptable.  Please, get it together. We still love the food. It was still great and fresh, despite the wait, but we...

We used to go here years ago when the kids were much younger, about 10yrs ago, for soccer or basketball grp lunches or dinners. But passed by it the other day and decided we need to go back, which we did today and it was SOOOO good as we remembered! The people are so nice and helpful for ordering since the options are endless for pizzas or Salads or Calzones or just tons of choices. I'd highly recommend swinging in and catching a slice of whatever fav you have or get a whole pizza to go. Looks like they also do a ton of pickups as well so don't let the small shop squeezed btw the other businesses fool you. We all know how hard it was to survive covid and after all these years, they continue to be here and from what we can tell they have not opt to getting cheaper or less tasteful food that separates those who make pizza since most people can tell when the dough or cheese or toppings are the cheaper options. They've remained true to what their customers want and we're so glad we've circled back to start using them as our top pizza/calzone place to go or order out:)

Normally Angelo and Vitos deserves a 3-4 star review, Until tonight. My son ordered the margherita pizza, but, as you can see, all we got was a pizza with shredded mozzarella, no sauce, and tiny strips of tomatoes spread all over. There was no basil.. Or maybe they just sprinkled dry basil across the top. It's really hard to tell. I'm not sure how they can sell shredded mozzarella and tomato strips as margherita pizza. Besides that, when we order online, we always get notified that "food is ready, come get it" while the pizzas are still in the oven. We always have to wait 10-15 minutes after arrival, even though we got the message about it being ready before walking in the door. Are they gaming the system? Is the timer automated regardless of how long it takes to cook?

Typically, I have no issues when I order from here. However, on yesterday; I received some old pizza slices that must have been sitting for a period of time. I saw the slices sitting up there, so I asked if I can get fresh slices. Well unbeknownst to me, when I got home, I saw that they gave me those slices that were just sitting out...smh They warmed them up to make them seem fresh. As you can see from the pics, they look old and they are not even sliced correctly. This was the first time I received poor service. Hopefully, this will not happen to anyone else. This is not to bash because I like this place. It gives me a sense of home being that I'm from NY and I know pizza. Just be cognizant to your customers and your product that your seving.
