I decided I wanted a Chick-fil-A breakfast for my birthday and drove to this location. Amidst this pandemic and unemployment I just needed a meal of comfort, ease and a stress free experience. I got here and there were no lines and only two cars in the drive thru.. I parked and called the store. Btw-I didn't feel comfortable going through the drive thru, because I don't have a mask that will cover 7 inches of beard, so I thought I could order from my passenger side door, get breakfast and show some support to this location. I was immediately confronted on the phone by a Latino gentleman ( who I assume was a manager because it wasn't John.M or Mike). He proceeded to tell me that we don't normally accommodate people like this and are really busy..( even though there are clearly only 2 cars in the drive thru and it's only 7:59am ). I proceeded to tell him why I didn't feel comfortable going through the drive thru and that I didn't have the app. I had a bad experience with the app (at this location and stopped coming here for 3 years) but he didn't know that. He then came out and took my money and proceeded to let me know that we don't do this, and we will never do it again and I should have used the app. Basically he reprimanded me. No hello, no kind words, no understanding or respectful customer interaction. I was sick to my stomach before the food even came..I wish I had never came back here. I am just one customer in a wide array of hundreds of people they will serve today and I obviously don't matter. I just wanted breakfast and an understanding voice. This man was dreadful. He doesn't have to worry about me...

Still as pathetic as ever. Today's screw up was leaving out 70% of the toppings and salad dressings for the three salads we bought. So what do three adults have for lunch? A large mound of lettuce with some cherry tomatoes and a few scraps of chicken nuggets. Another $40 wasted on the most pathetic Chick-Fil-A in Plano
I've lived near this location for over 25 years, watching it go downhill for the last 15. The owner all of this time is the same person, John M., who obviously could care less. No one will answer the phone, ever, when you try to provide feedback on their incredibly poor service.
FYI, Don't believe the fake four star reviews.

So, its a year later and nothing has changed. Today we were charged for a bottle of salad dressing we didn't order, received fried instead of the grilled nuggets and sandwich we ordered, and received drinks that had almost no ice.
Still the worst Chic-fil-A in Plano, with zero stars for effort.
About one out of every three times we go to this location these days there is at least one thing wrong with our order. In the past you could park and go inside to straighten things out. But now, with the locked doors and long lines of cars, there's no way to correct their mistakes. Like today, where we ended up throwing away the sweetened tea that we got when we ordered un-sweet tea...

THEY'RE OPEN AGAIN!!!!!
I had no idea this Chick fil A was back, and boy was I excited when a friend told me. We met her and her son for a play/lunch date and had the place to ourselves. Well until about noon, when both the drive-thru and the inside really picked up. The manager on-duty was extremely friendly and dropped by our table often to check on us. I really haven't been to a bad Chick fil A, but this one is just a notch above the others in friendliness, speed of service, accuracy of order and cleanliness (bathroom specifically). Plus the fact that the inside doesn't get too slammed, yet, is great for little kids playing. We will definitely be back!
UPDATE... They must have listened and WOW! Today was the fastest I've ever moved through the drive thru. Excellent service, timely, and they FINALLY remembered my sauce with my order. Way to go guys!
I LOVE Chick fil A, but this location takes forever! It's the only location I've been to that doesn't have someone stand outside taking orders to expedite the drive thru line. I've found myself in this area a handful of times in the last couple weeks and each time the line is out onto the street. I agree, everyone is very kind and the food is worth the line, most of the time. However, I think the amount of time the drive thru takes it might be faster to go to another...
