Friendship BBQ — Restaurant in Plano

Friendship barbecue was absolutely fantastic. not a single negative point to find about this place. Definitely lived up to its name tonight as my friends and i were looking for a place to eat at 1:30 in the morning, we had plans to go to a late night sushi spot nearby but they had closed their kitchen early. I called friendship to check and their kitchen was still open! they were so sweet and welcoming despite us being there until 30 minutes after they closed. we ordered a lot of food- right before their kitchen closed. i work in food service and if someone did this where i work i would definitely go a little crazy. i was very very impressed with their amazing service. and everything was delicious! i heavily recommend the honey pork belly skewer, cucumber salad, and beef fried rice! My mother and I visit asian food spots in the area once a week here for the last year- and although i wasnt with my mother this time, this place has definitely made my top 3 for asian food in the plano-carrollton-frisco area. I was blown away! and only $101 dollars for this amazing spread (pictured) we would have spent much more had the izakaya/sushi place we originally planned on welcomed us. the prices were fantastic. we’ll be back- at a better time...

After visiting my aunt in the hospital and craving some soup, my husband and I Googled for a late-night restaurant. We stumbled upon Friendship BBQ, a place I had always wanted to try. The restaurant opens until 2 am, which was perfect for me.

At Friendship BBQ, they offer a delectable variety of options beyond their famous BBQ grilled skewers. Their noodle soups, sharable hotpots, and mini hotpots are equally enticing. The menu seems to have something for everyone.

Upon entering, we were impressed by the spacious layout that accommodates both large groups and smaller parties. The ambiance was lively, with groups of friends and coworkers enjoying their meals, drinks, and laughter.

The service was also exceptional. The waiters and waitresses were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout.

Overall, our visit to Friendship BBQ was a wonderful and satisfying one. The combination of late-night hours, delicious food options, and excellent service makes it a place I'd happily recommend to anyone looking for a fun dining experience with...

The skewers are particularly well-prepared, and I appreciate the smaller portion sizes, which allow diners to sample a wide variety of dishes without feeling overwhelmed. Pricing is reasonable and reflects the quality of most menu items.

However, I did try the seafood boil once, and unfortunately, the ingredients did not seem fresh. It’s possible this item isn’t ordered frequently and may not be rotated as often as others.

Service could be more attentive. For example, I typically have to request water refills and ask for the check. That said, it may be reflective of the general service style in this area, which resembles a Chinatown-style dining environment.
