I brought my parents to Hakka Express since they miss eating Hakka food from Taiwan. It was delicious! Although some things on the menu weren't available, everything that we ordered was perfect and portion size was incredible considering the price. I ordered: Combination Fried Rice, Beef Noodle Soup (knife cut/hand shaved noodles), Fried Chicken Steak, and Bean Curd with Pork. I know I've reviewed a few beef noodle soups recently, but I'm not kidding when I said this place is one of the best! The size of the bowl was LARGE. I split this large bowl with a total of 3 people and it was still too much for us to finish, even including all the other food. The fried rice was delicious and there was plenty of meat inside. The bean curd with pork was delicious and the quantity was much more than I expected which makes me super happy. The bean curd with pork came with a small bowl of rice. I think my least favorite item was the fried chicken steak. It was still good, but it basically tasted like American fried chicken instead of the typical Taiwanese fried chicken steak taste. I'm definitely coming back in the future for more food! The atmosphere during lunch time in the food court is super lively and it's a great location to try multiple foods!

American Born Taiwanese here and find this to be some of the best executed Hakka food around. Genuinely feels like good home cooking or something you’d find in one of the casual street stalls/restaurants in Taiwan. Recommend the beef stew noodle soup. I tried with knife cut noodles which was a little dense so you may want to try with the thinner wheat noodles. We also usually get the scrambled egg with shrimp (comfort food) and a stir fried vegetable with garlic (water spinach is a favorite, if available) They’re cash only though they do accept Venmo.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! They don't take credit cards. I ate there for the first time on 9/16/24. My simple noodle meal was 16.48. I paid with Venmo when I looked at my credit card statement, I was charged $16.48 then I got an additional $10.00 cash advance fee. I paid over $26.00 for noodles. That is robbery!! If they would have told me when I was paying about this fee I would not have eaten there. They are wrong for doing this to customers. I will never return and I am telling everyone what they did to me!!

I am OBSESSED with this place!! I discovered it last year after moving down from Kansas and it’s been my obsession since then!

The quality, taste, service, price and portion are all amazing! I love the popcorn chicken and rice/veggies combo, and my boyfriend loves their beef noodles soup. It’s owned by a friendly couple who always make the food fresh and tasty. I like to call ahead before getting off work and they’ll have it ready within 15 mins. The only downside is they only accept cash, but if you have Zelle or Paypal, that’ll work too!

Their portions are super generous! I don’t think there’s any places for beef noodle soup for $11 that is served in this HUGE bowl. I can eat that for 2 meals and my boyfriend can eat it for 1.5x meals! I love how you can pick which type of noodles you want with the soup dish, so I can get the flat noodles, regular egg noodle, or vermicelli and it’s still the same price!

I highly recommend this place for those looking for authentic, good portion & price...
