This place is something special. My wife and I have eaten here 4 times, and each dish has been spectacular. We were drawn in by the "Gangnam Style" bowl, which was unique and fantastically delicious, but everything we have tried has been equally excellent. I have to try something new each time I go, because it's like nothing I've had anywhere else and I am never left disappointed. The quality and attention to detail in preparation of all ingredients is spectacular. I visited another highly rated local traditional sushi restaurant for an anniversary date recently, and it was a hollow experience after eating at Sushi Spot. Surprisingly, the best sushi I've found locally is in a humble food court. I think I would probably take it over anything I've had in Hawaii and Tokyo. You have to try it!

Settled for the Udon Soup (bare bones) and the Chef's Mistake. Sorry for my mistake. The preparation details were better than the average sushi buffet or other mass production places but not by much. The Udon Soup was skimpy in the sense that no customization was offered (or else I missed it during the interactive order submission). The Chef's Mistake was aptly named because the toppings over a bed of rolls was miserly in terms of protein with abundant lettuce. Stars should be deducted for offering farm-raised salmon without letting customers know. An expensive mistake my part.

So I would consider myself an amateur sushi connoisseur. Ironically months back on the off chance I was in town I bookmarked this place simply based on the reviews and pictures alone. Heading to anyplace with 5 stars comes with some high expectations and can confidently say they lived up to the hype. Finding it was fun as I am not familiar to the area but nestled in the center of the food court at the Jusgo food market. The owner was the highlight, very comforting interaction and nice to see such pride in his craft and product. He spoke on his origin and what to expect in terms of flavor as well as being very boastful of his rice. All things held true. I ordered two rolls, both presented beautifully and well worth their asking price in terms of quality and portion. I devoured them and contemplated a third if not for the long drive ahead. I have family that live in the area to which I will be recommending Sushi Spot to. Looking forward to next time being in town and maybe some new...

I was eating the tofu house place right behind it and I saw this had finally opened up. This spot used to be the Filipino joint but they closed down. I ordered stuff at the tofu house already when I wanted to try something here just for fun. The owner was hanging out and I asked him for recommendations. He was super friendly and chill. He gave me the low down on the rolls and I ended up ordering the Jalepeno bomb because my wife is pregnant and that's a cooked roll. The roll was friend and cooked well. Not soggy and small like some of the rolls at Densetsu... Which is the style of sushi this place is. I really liked the roll and he threw in the sample of his salmon poke. He was right, the fish was actually fresh and not fish at all. Overall a good place for lunch or rolls for your meal. I'll be...
