No available parking at this location during lunch led me to park in front of the establishment next door (Shell Shack). I called to notify staff of my arrival for curbside. When my order was brought out, I was instructed by the young lady to, "just park in the handicap spots next time for a minute so we can see you." I politely brushed off the illegal advice, as it came from a young member of staff. I thanked her for my order and drove off, thinking nothing of it. When I finally made it home, sat down at the kitchen island, and unwrapped my sandwich, I found myself staring at the unmistakeable sight of two long, dark coarse hairs. Either facial or pubic. I returned to the location for a full refund from the manager on staff, Amanda, who seemed completely unfazed by the event. As if, unbeknownst to me, pubic hair sandwich, was the special of the day. When I expressed my concerns, I was told they ‘can't stop making food long enough to inspect for hair,’ and I'd need to Google the phone number for corporate for a resolution beyond the refund already tendered. Unsure what kind of working conditions make staff disgruntled to the point of putting out hairy sandwiches, and the management so apathetic.

Read moreFirst off, I love Jersey Mike’s. Go to any store and the quality of its food and ingredients is consistently good and high quality. That usually separates JM’s from other sub shops at the get. Service at JM’s is usually icing on the cake and further distances it from competitors.
I arrived during a lunch rush on a Thursday and got my usual standard #13. It tastes great as always and the service was good. The one mark against, and negative trend, I’ve noticed is that online orders, UberEats, and DoorDash have bogged down the staff so heavily during the rush that they aren’t able to properly provide service to those customers at the counter. They were getting rocked by them when I arrived and observed that customers who came in were waiting waaaaaay too long to receive service and saw a couple give up and leave. Store management needs to reconsider their prioritization of service in order to not lose those customers who come in store for service while online and mobile orders are prioritized ahead of them just for those orders to sit on the counter and wait uncollected.

The guy passed my subs off to a girl and told her I had a coupon. She looked at it and then added veggies. A second girl then comes over to ring me out and tells me the coupon doesn't work at that location. I asked her why neither of the first 2 people mentioned that, and the first girl came back and pointed to where it was listed. Maybe the first guy didn't know, but the first girl obviously did.
