Worst Jimmy John’s location ever. Go elsewhere. I’d give a 0 if it was possible.
I’ve come in several times to the location here at Windhaven and the Tollway in Plano, only for to be turned away because the “credit card machine” is down. It’s 2023. If you can’t take credit cards, which I think is unlikely, the store should be shuttered until the card issue is fixed. To have this occur on 3 separate occasions, months apart, seems dubious to me!
The times that I have been able to order, they have got my order. wrong, every single time. Staff is very rude & unapologetic, carrying on conversations with other staff over customers. Staff seems very annoyed that customer even walk thru the door. It’s just a bad location. Management doesn’t care clearly.
—- And JJ Corporate:- I’m going to do you a favor and offer up some free advice. Won’t matter for me, because I’m not coming back, but perhaps you can use this advice to keep other folks as customers. Advice: So instead of replying to this review with a canned response to give the illusion that you are addressing anything, maybe step in and do something about it. I’d preer “thanks for being this to our attention” over what you guys put up. Literally the same response to every poor review. Couldn’t say “idgaf” any more clearly as a company. I understand that this is a franchised restaurant and blah blah, but you all at corporate have to do better holding the franchisee accountable!!! It’s YOUR name on the building after all. Consumers don’t think or care about if it’s a franchise. To me, and other consumers, it’s just Jimmy John’s and whether corporate owns it or not makes no difference to the guy trying to buy a sandwich. Then, you ask the consumer to go complain on your website? What? No! You’re reading my complaint right here, right now now, so why on earth would I then go and double up my efforts by posting this on your site as well?. Maybe you folks should call the store owner and address some of the issues. Send in a secret shopper, heck I don’t know! Do something. I ’m a JJ loyalty member, but obviously it’s time to take my hard earned dollars elsewhere.
BTW - I’m not looking for any sort of compensation and don’t want to talk to a store manager or owner who is running this type of operation. I already know, it would just be a series of excuses. Don’t bother trying to offer a free sandwich that the staff will just make incorrectly anyhow.
Just like many other things, JJ has gone way down hill, and as a consumer I guess that’s means it is time to support another business. One which cares about their customers. Never again. Stop giving these...
Read morePicture it, JJ's at 1:30pm, employees present 3, customers 0...you walk up to the door, big box of trash on the outside and it's locked. One guy slowly walks to open the door, no greeting, no smile...he's on the phone with someone I guess talking about how far away they are. The other two employees do not make eye contact, do not smile, do not greet me. The floor is a mess, crumbs and food everywhere. I stand there in front of the register for a good 60-90secs as the employees follow the guy on the phone around the room with their eyes, listening to this conversation on speaker - completely ignoring that I'm a customer. Finally the young man on the linesl acknowledges me (the other two disappear) and says are you here for pickup, I say no Id like to order. Then proceed to ask why he has to ring up and make the food when there are two other people. He says huh? I repeat myself in a different way, he says huh again? If I can type this good, y'all know I was talking clearly to this man. He just wasn't hearing anything - not high but just lacked listening/comprehension skills. 🤦🏾♀️ So I say nevermind and give my order. He rings me up and begins making my order in the same gloves after touching the register and the counter, which wasn't clean from what my eyes could see. I had to dust my seat off before I sat down bc again there are crumbs everywhere. He made the sandwich fast and im sure it'll taste fine, if not I'll be back. Update unable to submit issue online as requested in reply from the store 🙄 pushed Submit button after filling out all fields except Check # bc I don't have it, attached pic, everything blanked out...twice....
Read moreupdate: DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. THERE IS ANOTHER LOCATION ON PLANO PARK WAY GO TO THAT ONE! EVERYONE IS SUPER SWEET AND HAPPY TO TAKE YOUR ORDER. AS FOR THIS LOCATION, came again with my coworker, always giving this place the benefit of the doubt, the same employee, that is always rude, was even worst this time. it just seems like they are annoyed to even be there. (she has red hair, sometimes may have a wig on and colored eyes) my coworker orders a sandwich, and it also was her first and last time because then they proceeded to say " we are out of bread I can make this in a wrap" I just want to know how they didn't have ANY regular size bread. only "jrs" for children. it was 11:30, more confused how you didn't have bread regular size and being rude at the same time. lesson learned I will never be back to this location. I hope a manager sees this because it is out of control and this location.
I come to this location often during my lunch hour given that it is close to my workplace. I am always trying to give this location the benefit of the doubt, but the customer service is horrible. There is one particular worker they are always so loud and rude to the other employees and to customers. and this is every time I go to this location. also, the last time I went my wrap was not cut right and it fell apart when I opened it and of course it was the worker that is rude who made it. I just don't understand, if you hate your job, find another. every time I go, I hope for better service. it is easy just to not go; however, I love jimmy johns and hope changes are...
