Very small place, first come first serve on the tables. Order at the counter & they bring it out to you.
Caldo is great, tortillas are amazing, had a couple of barbacoa tacos that were a tad different than the Tex-Mex style I'm used to, but they were very delicious nonetheless (I'm used to it being just meaty & slightly greasy, but this one has a red type sauce/marinade that was a tiny bit spicy, had a good flavor)
On a to go order we were able to sample the menudo as well. It was cut perfectly & clean. Didn't see any "honeycomb" pieces in there though, and it is served without posole/hominy in it (again, that's more of a Tex-Mex style). But I would have no issue bringing it home & adding a can of hominy to it because as a base soup it has a delicious flavor. On point!
Parking close by can be a bit tricky if it's busy, but luckily downtown Plano has ample parking if you're willing to...
Read moreHorrible service. Food premade/frozen?! My husband, a friend of ours, and I saw the flyer to this place while, at McNeil’s in downtown Plano. So we all picked out what we wanted and my husband and our friend stopped to place the order. He started with mine.., saying “ chili Riano‘s and can we add beef?” The lady there said no. He asked why not? She said I just can’t? He asked is it premade or frozen or something? Why can’t you just include beef? And she said we don’t have it. But they do have many other items with beef on the menu… So he said OK then I don’t want it. And she just said OK. So instead of getting three people’s orders and charging us a little extra for some beef they lost money on three orders, and we go to downtown Plano often, and it’s on our way home, so probably lots of future orders All lost as well.. So we got food somewhere else, and we will...
Read moreI came to this place with my family because I saw the 5 star ratings the service was mid had no customers service experience looked all mad. The food was good that’s one thing I will say, but than remind you just spent 60.00 and we took leftovers to go which was about 5 pupusas they gave us barley salad for the pupusa. We asked if we can take some salsa and salad to go for the rest of the pupusas and they charged just salsa and salad my husband spent nearly 10.00 which is ridiculously and than tell us everything is high. We own a lot of businesses and this the #1 way to loose a customer because we are foody people. Please don’t open a restaurant if you can’t give customers who buy food and just want a small amount to go. I will not support places that charge me for salsa and...
