Mango Mango Dessert - Plano — Restaurant in Plano

Service was quick, they had my food ready way quicker than I expected. I got the mango mochi and mango crepe cake, the slice of cake is actually pretty large, larger than a normal piece of cake I would say. The fruit I got was all very fresh and tastes sweet, high quality for sure! The mochi is very soft and a bit hard to work with but that's typical with this kind, the taste and texture is actually very nice in my opinion. Everything has a kind of subtle sweetness that wont hurt your stomach or make you feel like death, it's very pleasant. The crepe cake also was nice and light, this is my first one trying it so I have nothing to compare it too but I really liked it, texture as airy and the taste could be a little more fruity, maybe by adding more syrup, but to be fair mine was put in a to go box so I probably lost a lot. Speaking of the to go box, I wanna say the presentation was still good, they still put care into how it looked and I loved that. Th place itself looks amazing and very clean. Overall this was an amazing experience for me, living in a boring rural area. I told all my friends about this place and we all hope to come and try more stuff. I felt super fancy and cool eating here, the food is amazing quality nd presentation wise for a very reasonable nd affordable price, I can't wait to come back and feel...

I ordered the white almond dessert soup and my friend ordered the walnut dessert soup. On this particular day that we ordered, we waited 40mins (no kidding!) and still nothing. We went to the cashier to ask what was going on, only then did they realize that their system was not giving them our orders (as well as everyone elses). We were told to wait another 15mins for them to do our order. Eventually I got my white almond dessert soup. It didn't really feel like it was made from scratch like the way my Mom used to make it. It really felt like prepackaged and added water. It was sort of gloopy. It was worse for my friend. His walnut dessert soup was not creamy smooth, but had a lot of little gloopy clumps. Again - another indication it wasn't fine blended from scratch. He ate what he could and what was left was like... soupy water (like when corn starch in soup breaks down). It should have been thick and pasty.

Ultimately, after waiting close to an hour just for our 2 dessert soups, we're both disappointed. It really didn't feel like it was the authentic quality we expected - just felt like they added water and corn starch and mixed in...

I remember going here a few years ago and the service was great but now it is terrible. I ordered from the online app and when I arrived there was only one staff at the front desk. After sitting on the seats for about 30 minutes I felt confused because my order still wasn’t done yet. I went up to the front counter to ask the staff where my order was and they said that it had been “cancelled” and that I could order in person instead. I reminded them multiple times but they just said that they “didn’t get my online order.” The staff kept urging me to order in person but I still wanted my online order because it would’ve been a waste of time. Turns out, the online menu is cheaper. I believe that the staff was trying to cheat on its customers by making them drive there in person after making an online order, and pressuring them to order in person as well. The online menu is cheaper than the in person menu and I wouldn’t have minded this but since that girl was trying to cheat, I decided to leave. Waste of time and awful service do...
