So we ordered two pizzas online - one with anchovies and one cheese. I tried to pay online but it kept timing out so I said to pay instore - didn’t want to risk getting charged multiple times. My husband goes in to pick up and the order is wrong - they gave us a cheese pizza with anchovies on the side and the other cheese pizza. My husband asked that they remake it as ordered which per the order I asked for anchovies on the entire pizza (it gives you option of if you want it on half or whole etc.) This was around 350 pm. We eat and head to a basketball game around 730 around which time they start blowing up my husbands phone. Obviously he can’t answer and we aren’t trying to get out to answer the call....apparently we forgot t pay them- no fools you didn’t charge us. Mind you the order was $18.39. After we got done with the game - we headed to the pizza place - around 930. When my husband went in to pay he was informed - oh good you came in because the manager was going to call the police!!! Are you kidding me????!!!! You screwed up my order - you forgot to charge me and now you want to call the cops over $18.39 - you obviously have no understanding of customer service and have a crappy expectation of mankind - sucks for you! Read moreOrdered online and when the driver came with our order, he stated that they had switched out a menu item without asking us if it would be ok. We refused the pizzas after the driver said he could drive to a grocery store for the item and put it on our pizza. I called the store and spoke with a young lady who told me that the driver tried to call me, which is incorrect. I asked her for a refund on my card and she said tonight was her first night as a manager and she didn't know how to do that. She put me on hold and supposedly called her manager, who told her to offer me a $10 credit on my next order. No, I need the money back on the pizza that was incorrect and refused. She said the other manager would have to handle it when that person returned to work, which could be 2-3 days. This is an absolutely terrible example how how little some companies think of customer service. This could have been handled so much better by the Marcos staff, yet that thought never entered their minds during this entire debacle.
A short update: Since we cannot get Marcos to do the right thing and process a refund, I contacted my bank and had them cancel the transaction. Again, this should have been handled better by the store...
Read moreI live 1.9 miles away from this place, Google maps says seven minutes and they won’t deliver. So I go pick it up after they told me 20 minutes for a pick up. When I got there early, thankfully, they had two pizzas in the oven. Good thing I showed up early, it doesn’t take 20 minutes to cook three pizzas. The moron manager had his back turned to me the entire time, I knocked on the counter and gave everyone a stare. Finally one of the girls from the back came up and rang me up as I saw my pizza already sitting on the rack ready to be picked up in 10 minutes not 20 minutes. What really ticked me off was the manager who is probably the owner with his back turned me the entire time while texting on his phone and didn’t even notice or acknowledge me.
