Having been to a few Mediterranean places in the area we decided to give this place a try since we were close to it. When we first walked in we noticed how homely the interior looked. It had the feeling of a mom and pop establishment and we felt like we were going to get some good food. I had high hopes especially given the number of good reviews I read about on Yelp.

However after ordered our food we quickly became disenchanted with the quality of the restaurant. Since we had a family size group we decided to order the family meal since we have great success with family meals at Mediterranean places in the past. I wasn't too hungry and thought I'd just eat pita and baba ganoush so that is what I ordered. My husband wanted something extra so he ordered the lamb kabob. First came the baba ganoush(not pictured) it was drowned in oil and the pita served with it was cold, not a good start. Next came the chicken shawarma platter, the best part of the platter was the fries, the wraps taste like frozen food that was reheated and they looked nothing like picture on the menu. The exterior of the wraps were almost grey in color and didn't have the typical light and crispy texture that they normally have at any decent Mediterranean place, and they were soggy and dripping in oil. Last came the puny kabob tucked into a piece of pita bread(not pictured), which was an odd and unappetizing way to plate food. In addition, kabob was chewy and lacked decent flavor. My kids were hungry so they ate the greasy food all the while raving about the place we went to in Richardson the week prior.

To make matters worse the service was sloppy. The poor guy who was very friendly and kind, had to work the register, run the food from the kitchen and wait the tables. He often forgot the things we requested and needed such as utensils. Also be prepared to purchase water since the water isn't filtered and has an off taste. I must say we will not return to...

In summary: The food is well seasoned, portioned and delicious. Atmosphere is clean and open. Plenty of seating . Service is top notch . They open early 10:00 am. The details: My wife and I were in the mood for Mediterranean and went to this restaurant late Saturday morning. They are open at 10:00 am. Very few Mediterranean restaurants are open this early. This is a brand new restaurant the area. When you walk in, you’ll notice the clean and open layout. I walked and was treated by a friendly host. He recommend his favorites from the menu. I went ahead with the mixed Kebob platter, Baba Ghanouj, and Tabbouli salad . While waiting for the food , I got to know the staff and found that this is a classic family restaurant. The family is just moving from out of state and staring their first business. Because I was the first customer and so early the food took a bit to make, the owner came out multiple times to converse and assure me that they are making it to perfection. Gave me a complementary drink. We took the food to go in anticipation. The Kebobs were delicious, very well seasoned , the steak kebob was perfect medium well. The chicken kebob was seasoned and NOT dry , grilling chicken while maintaining moisture very hard to do . The best part of the meal we’re actually the rice and Tabbouli salad. They had great distinct flavors. Tabbouli comes with a big lemon wedge that brings out all the flavor . I absolutely recommend this place for all you that crave a...

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a catering order from Pita Shawarma, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The quality of the food was outstanding, with each dish prepared using fresh and high-quality ingredients that truly elevated the flavors. The shawarma, chicken and Kefta Kebabs were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, while the accompanying sides (hummas, baba ganoush etc.) were equally delightful.

The presentation of the food was also impressive. Each item was meticulously arranged, making the spread not only appetizing but also visually appealing. The vibrant colors and artistic touches added to the overall dining experience, making it a feast for the eyes as well as the palate.

In terms of quantity, the portions were generous and satisfying, ensuring that everyone had more than enough to enjoy. Whether it was the hearty kebabs or shawarma wraps or the plentiful sides, each dish was designed to satisfy even the most voracious appetite.

Lastly, I must commend Mr. Wael for his courteousness. His attentiveness and passion for their business were evident as he ensured that everything was perfect for our event. His genuine warmth and friendly demeanor added a personal touch that made the experience even more memorable.

Overall, Pita Shawarma excels in every aspect, from the quality and presentation of the food to the generous portions and the courteousness. I highly recommend them for any...

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in DFW! I ordered a mixed kabob plate, mixed shawerma, kefta plate, hummus, falafel. Everything was absolutely delicious. Salad, pita and all the sides were very tasty. I asked for hot sauce on the side, perfect spice level. Family loved the food. Our new favorite! Hope they're consistent with the quality and taste.
