On the Rocks Cantina — Restaurant in Plano

I love this bar don’t get me wrong. Usually all the bartenders are super sweet and they’re incredibly welcoming except for this one…

I’ve been coming to this establishment for over a year now and I’ve always usually been treated well. Recently however, Tara has been super rude to me and my company and I have no clue to as why she is. I understand she is pregnant and that’s normal, but they way me and my girlfriend were treated today was so rude and borderline racist.

We weren’t served despite sitting at the bar for over 10-15 minutes and everytime we’ve ordered a drink, Tara has been saying one word answers and not checking up on us when our glass is completely empty, while she’s talking to every other guest. She’s having whole conversations while I’m waiting to order our next drinks. I don’t write reviews often but when I feel like I’m not getting the same treatment as others is when it’s a problem to me. Again every time I’ve been here, Sophie has always treated us like we’re family, Tara is the only one who always is so distant and rude with us every single time we order a drink not only on this occasion. I would really appreciate being treated with the same respect everyone else is getting but I guess this is why...

Tara was terrible.... we asked for extra ranch on evey single drink! Nah jk. Bad attitude, eye rolled the whole time, mean mugged when she got the order wrong (it was a shot neat, we got it chilled and dressed) audibly talked about us to the bartender. I'm sorry she had a bad day but we were getting together for the first time and she could barely get back to us in a bar with empty tables.... we just wanted to have a fun Saturday. I had to ask for the check 2x. (We waited for about 20 minutes before I asked again) canceled a drink on the first time asking and all. She never picked up the canceled shot lol OK. If that's what yall do...... prebussing, a joke. She was just not ever a bartender/server but a pariah to your business. We decided to leave for the festival we didn't even know about until the nastiness was too much. We waited in a line for 30 minute over sitting...

We walked in and stood at the entrance for a good while and nobody greeted us. Now I can understand being busy but on Sunday at 420pm.... 3 people saw us and continued to work and not acknowledge us. I understand that if your job title is to be a food runner or a bartender, but when you have people at the front door waiting, your job is customer service and it should be at least to greet the people and say that somebody we will be with you shortly. Your customer should not also be able to see your employees mouth "who's going to get that" and then nobody moved...
