Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Plano

I just wanted to share my experience from tonight. I came here to pick up food that my parents had placed in, right? Well, I came here and a young man had helped me out and he was polite too. Then, an elderly lady was there to finish the process and I thought I was set to go (because isn't picking up an order like that?). She made me seem like a thief and had raised her voice at me saying not to take the food because I hadn't paid for it yet. I was completely unaware and thought it was paid for online so I called my parents to make sure. While I did this, she made a scene about it and made the other customers wait until I had paid for the food. She could've taken care of them while I had the waters clear with my parents but she did not. Anyways, I paid for the food and she was not polite with this whole transaction (rude in tone), in general, she seemed so careless with customer service. She threw the receipts on the pizza box rather than giving it to me in my hands. I won't come here again to this location.

An extra note in general from a person to another person, we should treat others the way we want to be treated. There's a way to approach every situation and it makes all the difference. Throwing receipts and being short with a customer doesn't cut it for anyone. Most of us work and have jobs as well, and none of us should treat another person like that. Love hits...

I agree with other reviewers..why make big deal out of the elderly lady behind counter?? If you get past the fussing she is just another human trying to make ends meet! She is well past retirement age, yet she still works and has been there for 17 years! I kill her with kindness and she is as sweet as pie to me! Imagine having to work at Pizza Hut at that age, and taking orders from what must seem like babies in their 20’s! I would be grouchy, burned out and just done with fake nice act! Actually have some empathy! Rather deal with realness than get gross, instant stomach issues from other Pizza Hut’s in area! They are also rude in a young punk way!! I understand this! And obviously Pizza Hut does too because she has been there for 17 years! I respect and choose this Pizza Hut over the fancy places for them not just kick her to curb because she gives place spice and is real and honest! Feels good than the fake you get, they are thinking it! She has a good heart if you would take the extra minute! Could be you one day! Next time try talking to her instead of down at her! Thank you Pizza Hut! I recommend you to everyone that asks where to get great pizza! If she didn’t meet me I would be heart broken! If I could give less than 1 Star I would!! What a total joke and 2 hour hassle just to get 2 pizzas and an order of wings! The delivery driver was either on drugs or drunk (or both)...dude was TOTALLY spaced out! He spilled sauce all over our front porch and then proceeded to set the bowl of wings in our bushes behind him as he tried to get himself together! Then, if that’s not enough to wonder “what the heck?!”, we called to let them know we didn’t get what we ordered AND to inform them of their whacked out driver (he also pulled out of our front drive and came within inches of taking out our neighbor’s mailbox with his car!!) the guy who answered the phone just sighed and said he knew exactly who we were talking about...and then they sent the SAME loony toon guy back to us!!!...
