Skyblue Gelato Cone — Restaurant in Plano

I recently visited Galeto Cone Ice Cream in Plano, and I have to say, it was an amazing treat! The ice cream was creamy, rich, and reminded me so much of Turkish ice cream (dondurma) with its distinct texture and flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by the similarity, especially since they haven’t promoted it as Turkish ice cream, but it definitely brought back those familiar tastes.

The flavors were delightful, and the texture was smooth with just the right amount of chewiness—exactly like the authentic dondurma experience. I’m honestly surprised they haven’t capitalized on marketing it that way!

My family and I came to your establishment tonight and we got four different gelatos. My son, who asked specifically, if there was any nuts in his ice cream was told "no." He has a severe nut allergy but we thought this would not be issue since we asked specifically regarding this. The staff member then displayed carelessness by not cleaning the scooper between each scoop, allowing nut residue to get on my son's ice cream which caused him to have an allergic reaction with swelling and itching in the mouth.
