Burger place at Legacy Hall - which means a couple things...you have to want the Legacy Hall experience - and you're paying for it. So, the experience - Legacy Hall is a great concept - tons of awesome places to eat - burgers, tacos, Italian, BBQ, desserts, you name it - and great atmosphere - terrific place to gather, eat and talk with a group of friends. Now that you've decided where, you have so many outstanding choices of what and SOB (Son of a Butcher) is a solid selection for a burger and fries. Now, you aren't going to be overwhelmed with SOB, but you won't be disappointed either. Sliders are good, fries are good, didn't get the milkshake, but I'm sure that's good as well. Again, once you've selected where, just know that there aren't really any "inexpensive" places - you'll pay a little more for a burger and fries than normal, but you're getting Legacy Hall with it...and it's just a couple bucks more. I ordered two sliders - the classic and the burnt ends (brisket) - both were very good. Fries have options that look enticing, but if you're getting two sliders, a drink, and loaded fries, you'll be dropping about $20 on lunch! Oh, and remember that Legacy Hall doesn't take cash. Anyway, check out Legacy Hall - seriously outstanding choices for eating - and if you're a burger and fry kinda guy (or gal), Son of a Butcher is a...
Read moreOrdered a All American burger and a Burnt End burger with a side of onion rings through door dash. Food was delivered with express care. The Onion rings were big but lacked even bigger flavor. It was crispy but I imagined having COVID and not being able to taste anything but still feel the texture that’s what eating those are like. The All American burger was delicious tender bread soft and warm but again it had no seasoning on the meat. I mean the flavors were pulling through with every chew until I got to the meat it was a disappointment because the burger was so good. But anywho the Burnt End burger tender soft warm flavorful until again you get to the meat. I give this place a 7/10 strictly because the onion rings batter needs to be revamped it’s disrespectful to put those on the side of a burger so good. And also because the meat...
Read moreNot worth the money. High cost for very very low quality food. Honestly a novice griller could do a better job and at half the cost. The bun was ice cold, the meat was cheap low quality undercooked beef soaked in its own fat and the waffle fries could have doubled as roofing shingles. It's like you could taste someone else's saliva. Oh but they did throw in a ketchup packet. This experience was the equivalent of a cheap vendor in a yellow sweat stained t-shirt with a booth in a traveling circus offering half eaten two day old leftovers for 200 tickets. Needless to say, I gave them their "food" back.
At this rate, Son of a Butcher will be one more empty booth in Legacy Hall and rightfully so. It should be a crime to charge that much money for such horrible disgusting food. Son of a Butcher would get less than one star if that were...
