Overpriced, under delivered. My wife and I went to celebrate our 14 year anniversary this week at FdC. I was expecting an expensive meal, but on this rare occasion expected great service and atmosphere of whats expected to be a very high end Brazilian Steakhouse. Instead, while knowing I was celebrating a romantic occasion, the hostess placed us next to the salad bar. We were greeted by a Customer Service person who said our waiter would be with us soon. He proceeded to bring us our drinks and then told us to help ourselves to the salad bar. We finished our salad and I flipped my token over and for nearly 10 minutes sat unattended with nobody walking thru to offer us cuts of meat. I actually looked around several times to see if it was just us. Then a guy came over, offered us a piece of bacon wrapped chicken. At this point we'd been in the restaurant for about 20 minutes. A bus boy came by and asked my wife if she was done with her plate. She said yes, assuming since it was her salad bar plate they would just give her a new plate for her meat. Instead he clears our table, taking my plate and silverware and plate as well and asked if we wanted any dessert. We let him know we'd not even eaten any meat because we weren't getting service. At this time I was finally able to get a refill on my diet coke. We had a decent rate of service for about 15 minutes, but after that nobody came to check on us. My diet coke glass sat empty, I kept looking around, nobody checked on us. It was noisy you could hardly enjoy conversation. Yet at the same time it wasnt necessarily busy looking. Just loud for no apparent reason. We sat there so long the ice in the original water melted and I had a cup of warm water to drink. Had become so thirsty I was drinking that. At least 20 minutes went by at this point an Assistant Manager had spotted me looking around and finally came over. He was polite and apologized for the terrible experience. I must have mentioned my soda 3-4x and how disappointed I was in the lack of service. Whole he offered us dessert we were already full and ready to go. We had other arrangements for the evening to attend as well. At no point did he bring me a refill. He returned with a $50 gift card and apologized saying he hoped we return and give them another chance in the future. While I appreciate the gesture. In all honesty bringing me a to go cup with a diet coke would have gone further to apologize. I can count the number of times my wife and I have spent over $150 on a dinner on 1 hand and if you think I'm going to return and spend another $100 with FdC after that service your sadly mistaken. I've received better waitstaff experiences at buffets that cost me $10 a plate. I've been to a couple of Brazilian steakhouse before and this was by far the most disappointing. Usually the waiters are buzzing around with all kinds of cuts of meat, pineapples, etc. I got 1 tiny little piece of grilled cheese when we first sat down and ironically I still had my token on red and that was the only non meat to come around. Only got the 1 tiny amount of that and never saw it again. Honestly it may have been the star of the evening.
Anyway, if you have a special event coming up, I'd recommend spending your money and evening elsewhere. Somewhere that hasn't lost sight of what good customer service should look like because let's be honest at $65 a person and $4 for soda. You should be able to get more than 1 refill in an hour plus...

Now, onto the food – a carnivore's paradise! The Market Table is a vibrant, fresh, and abundant spread, offering an incredible array of salads, charcuterie, cheeses, and traditional Brazilian dishes that could honestly be a meal in themselves. But of course, the main event is the parade of churrasco meats, carved tableside by skilled gaucho chefs. Each cut, from the perfectly seasoned picanha to the tender filet mignon and flavorful lamb chops, was cooked to absolute perfection. The quality of the meat is undeniable, and the variety ensures there's something to satisfy every palate.

Read moreBeware of seated near the front left near the entrance. First time there and we were persuaded into our choosing the Churrasco experience... We were seated at a small circular table off to the left. We ordered cocktails and after being told the general direction of where the salad table was off we went. We saw several gentlemen buzzing around offering copious amounts of meat on the right side of the restaurant. We were excited! That quickly ended once we got back to our seats. Not only did we not have our cocktails but it took several minutes before the waitress showed back up. She looked at us for a moment and then asked us. You didn't get your drinks? Nope! She walked away to the bar and less than a minute later brought them to us. The drinks had clearly settled and had been sitting for a while. After a few minutes pass a group of gentlemen bombard us at once with 5 cuts of meat with an additional one choosing to keep walking instead of waiting. This was the first of four times during a multi hour dinner that we were offered meat, and the only time where it was all at once. We waited once again, and decided to take a trip to the salad bar again. We came back to our small table, plates still there. I bussed the table for my wife and I as I juggled our two plates also... We sat again and waited for several minutes and still no meat. Our waitress showed back up and asked us if there was any particular meat we would like to try? We let her know that we hadn't seen anyone stop by in a while. We asked for a menu of meats as this was our first time and was told they didn't have a menu of the meats to provide. We asked for suggestions and she suggested the beef ribs. We continued to wait, my wife finally giving up. When asking the waitress after 30 + minutes about the beef ribs she replied with, "it never came?" Another 25 minutes pass by and a gentlemen comes over with the Luke warm remains of a beef rib opting to provide me with two quick cuts of the meat mostly bark and fat. Definitely wasn't a fan and pretty much snuffed out our trip or interest in anything else. All in all we tried 5 of the meats as usually only what the masses didn't want made it's way over to us and that was even limited. If this is your first time here, sit as close to the grill and restrooms as possible or avoid the "experience" all together. Poor service, poor even rotation of the employees offering meat, and a "checked out" experience from staff will leave you feeling cheaply forgotten and abandoned in what I was told would have been a rockstar experience by friends and family. We learned after the fact that we were supposed to be offered side dishes at our table... This never happened...... To those that say to try it at least once: completely ignore them and avoid this location. Much better places with quality staff and service offerings that are...
