Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Plano

Milkshakes were good. The service is ok. Takes a long time for them to bring to you. I’m not talking when it’s busy. This is when there is 3 cars total, you see your order ready. The screen shows your order is ready and shows name of person bringing it, then you see them stop , talk about something. Set it down. Continue to talk and not love. Than kick it back up and bring it out to you. This has happened now 4 times. No joke. 4. This is just finally me saying those thing bc I’m confused by it. Not sure if the manager doesn’t want it doing out to DM fast bc it seems like the drinks were premade and inns freezer? Which who cares if that’s the case. They’re milk shakes. Stopped by this afternoon for a Cherry coke and strawberry shake. When the carhop brought my order—I received a plain coke. When I told her it was supposed to be a cherry coke, she said it is a cherry coke. I opened the lid and clearly it is a plain coke. She stated she’d take it and remake it. Which she seemed to have done, until I get home and I’m drinking it—it’s coke with maybe a squirt or two of cherry on top. I give stars only because of the individual taking my order. The ultimate goal is to take the customer's order correctly. The young lady who was given the privilege to greet those pressing that magical red button grinds my gears. Why ask me a question as if were at an auction? She doesn't even completely finish her sentence and it's not like every stall is full. I visit this location because it's close to home. Hmmm think I'll take my business around the corner to Chickfila where their employees are trained how to greet and actually complete a sentence.
