REVISED 12/15/2022 @2:30 pm Changed to 3 Star but today was a solid 4 star experience. Just goes to prove what a well trained staff with good management can accomplish.
I was in the store for nearly 4 hours even though I said I would not return. I just could not believe how bad an experience we had last night. Wanted to know if today was any better and I had some work to get done and wanted coffee & food. Surprised myself and decided to go back in.
Over the period of time that I was there, I observed gracious baristaās who were smiling and happy and executed everything with speed and accuracy. This was a well trained staff. This was also in complete contrast to the previous evening. This goes to management and training.
Before I left I watched this team handle orders for two school bus loads. They did not miss a beat and every seat was filled! I let them know how impressive they were today.
The only fault was it no one address the bathroom area in four hours. That said, they could remedy that situation easily.
Please either have the area manager or daytime manager retrain the nighttime staff. They are atrocious and causing serious problems for the reputation of this location.
Evening 12-14-2022 ONE STAR AND THAT WAS GRUDGINGLY Hot chocolate made wrong. New barista, no oversight. Egg bites too hot to touch. Not warm or welcoming. Staff not happy or smiling. No pleasantness at all. Pretty inside but staff needs training including management. This store needs to close by area manager and retrain staff properly. Or just close the location. The reviews are consistent and tell the story well.
Would not give water when walked in because they were closing. Wife was mouth on fire from egg bites. Did Not even look up.
Will NEVER return to this one.

It seems they have corrected the issues at hand, and for that I feel it is the right thing to edit this review and give a higher rating. After visiting this location for a long time in their previous location across the street with countless positive experiences, I was excited to try their new location, still in the same area. I decided to go through the drive through which it was nice to see they offer now. The barista taking the orders though was not very friendly, and also got my drink wrong, but I thankfully caught that before I got up to the window. It did not take long to get to the window, but the barista who was handing out drinks provided poor service. She did not confirm our order before payment, which I am used to when I go to Starbucks, then handed us our drinks without even saying thank you and she seemed to be irritated at us being there. The drink itself, an iced caramel macchiato tasted burned and not very good, and was certainly not up to my expectations. All in all though, while I will probably come on another day to give them one more chance, but I can't say I recommend this location based on...
Ā Ā Ā Read more3rd update: this store lost its store manager, Shelby. Shelby turned this store around by bringing it from a horrible service environment to an excellent one. She left. Now the store is suffering and nothing works again.
Update to my review after 6 months: this store has figured out how to maintain consistent service and quality. I think this issue was multifaceted where this store was previously a staff that was not used to having a drive thru. They have stepped up and are very accurate and pleasant and timing is consistent.
Previous1 star review: This store strugglesā¦. A lot. The staff is super nice but they just for the life of them cannot seem to get their service times appropriate. Sometimes it takes over twenty minutes to get a mobile order prepared and when it is prepared they have missed something on quality and you end up returning so that they can fix it⦠and it takes another ten minutes. And around we go. This has been my experience about four times now. I hate to say this but Although this store is closest to me.. I need to go back to Preston Lorimar. Ironically, the store manager and DM were sitting in the cafe the entire time watching a zoom call (very loudly) and just letting the service go. Super disappointed. Also not even an inconsiderate customer would watch a loud zoom call in the cafeā¦...
