Sushi Go — Restaurant in Plano

Pretty good and convenient place overall. Their sushi isn't the best quality, it's way better then grocery store/cafeteria sushi but not at the same level of nice sushi bar quality. They have a wide variety of rolls, and the fish always taste fresh. They have some other small items too like miso and tempura (their tempura is good and always pipping hot). Their sushi is a bit on the cold side which I think makes the experience less enjoyable since sushi quality is highly determinant of texture which temperature affects greatly, in this case negatively.

Overall it's a good value, the employees are super kind and sweet, they have a frequent customer card and the menu is simple which makes it pretty fast and easy. There are plenty of better sushi places, but this place suffices if your in a hurry for a quick lunch or to pick up on the way home from shopping. I do enjoy their fish bento box which I think is something they do well here. This restaurant is worth a shot if your in the area and want something fast. Just a warning they are heavy handed on the sauce so ask them for light sauce on things that come with it unless you want to drown out the fish and vegetables in sweet...

I ordered Sushi Go delivery through GrubHub+ so I can’t review the service or atmosphere, but the sushi is actually really good! The portions are big and the rice to fish ratio is perfect.

What I ordered: • Ahi Tower: Very tasty. Could use a bit less sauce, but the portion is big for just under $12 • Sushi Bento Box: Huge portions. The salad I didn’t really care for, but the sushi was delicious • Avocado Roll: Big chunks of avocado, not that little smear some places give. • Miso Soup: Light in color, kind of bland, but I think it’s because they just made it and the flavors didn’t stew enough yet.

I would definitely order delivery from here again.

I have eaten here/from here a countless number of times over the years: dine-in, take-out, and delivery. We’ve enjoyed a wide variety of items and have never had anything but absolutely delicious, fresh, wonderful food! When we’ve asked for substitutions on our orders (due to dietary restrictions) they have been wonderful about accommodating us — but we’ve been careful to be reasonable in our requests. Delivery and take-out orders have always arrived in perfect condition and proper temperature. Only one time was there an issue with what was delivered — I called the restaurant when the order arrived, then went there the next day and they made everything “ right”. I couldn’t ask for anything more! I never hesitate to eat here or...
