This subway is right next to a Rehab Hospital, so most of us nurses like to eat a little healthy while at work. What we don’t like or appreciate is going to a restaurant for a promotion (buy one get one free) or have a coupon that comes in the mail, only for the staff to tell us they don’t accept any coupons or promo codes. What a greedy manager or store owner to deny any money off these expensive sandwiches. Shame on whoever made this decision. We no longer eat here. We would rather drive 10 minutes down the street than walk less then 2 minutes to eat here. Should be closed or have the health inspectors to come out and see how gross this place is....
Read moreThis is our regular Subway location, 3 min from home. A couple of days ago, I went in to get 2 footlongs. Server at beginning of line was wearing a face shield but no mask. Asked for mgr, none around. I asked server why she had no mask (other employees did). She replied that she can't wear a mask because of health issues, so wore shield. My concern is that a shield directs exhalations and coughs DOWN toward chest and on to the food prep surface at waist level. No idea what the actual effect of breathing on food is, but seems risky. Didn’t work. I offered to just pay the diff. He wanted to charge for 2 6” sandwhiches.
This is after the sandwhich was not even made correctly. Skimpy toppings. Everything was an upgrade.
