I showed up before the lunch rush in the drive thru. Ordered a cabbana sampler. Upon when i was asked what i wanted to drink. I assumed it came with the platter, but upon considering, i asked and was told rudely no it did no. So i canceled my drink order. I asked for no tomatoes and was prompted to pull forward. When i pulled up, i saw a young girl with her hair in a mess who looked hungover, if not high. She asked what kind of salsa i wanted and as i stated the first kind she began to close the window, though i had 3 more requests. I got my food, after she walked away from the window and her coworker had to hand me the bag. I left, and upon beginning the meal, figured out i had no silverware. So i pulled back to the window, waited another 7 minutes, upon when i watched the customer in front of me have to tap the window just to remind the girl at the window she had paid for a drink and hadnt recieved it. She quickly shuffled a drink to the woman, and then looked down, as i returned. I asked for silverware and she closed the window. As i watched her grab 3 seperate silverware items and wrap them in a napkin, i figured knife, fork, spoon. Dont have to much faith in this place. I got 3 spoons! Lucky day huh! Well i was late enough as it was so i made do with my 3 spoons, with enchilad's and such. But i figured i would call the management just to inform them they were doing a less than sufficient job for their paying customers. I waited 3 minutes to speak wit management, upon when i told her what had happened. I was not offered a full refund, any way to solve the problem, all i was told was they were very sorry and they would talk to the staff. After the call i began to eat, and upon opening it, sure enough, those pesky tomatoes i had asked to be removed? Sitting right there! Overall the food is good, but the service is downright sickening. Id steer clear there is to many other establishments who can...
Read moreIt’s not that I feel entitled to curbside pickup. However, if you’re going to offer it for ordering and have signage, parking, and instructions, then you need you need to honor it. Just be honest so your customers have a choice. My guess is that the franchisor has told them they must offer it, so they pretend to. They don’t. You will be (in my case) hauling your screaming toddler into and out of the store for pickup. I’ve tested this 3 times and they were finally honest with me. The first time no one picked up the phone so I eventually went inside. The second time it went straight to voicemail and when I went in, I let the clerk know the phone was going straight to vm, and I kid you not she smiled and said, “yeah, ok.” Finally, this time I used the mobile app, parked in a designated spot, called and got vm. When I went in I asked the clerk, “You guys don’t really do curbside, right?” And to my surprise she said, “No, not really… no, we don’t.” I appreciated the honesty. I didn’t complain, let my toddler scream and pout while we waited and carried her out over my shoulder when we got our food. Again, I don’t expect curbside service. Lots of places don’t offer it. My objection is pretending to offer it. I would have chosen elsewhere if that were the case. And to the suggestion I should just use the drive thru, I can and have. That said, the app offers rewards for ordering through the app, which is why I’d like to use it. But like the Taco Bell on Parker, they’ve decided not to do curbside or drive thru mobile pick up. Honesty about that would give your older, disabled, or child caring patrons options. The food is fine to good. It’s taco cabana. But yeah, take down the signs and stop pretending. Thanks from...
Read moreI've lived in the area for 25 years. I've regularly eaten here for 12 when I want a lazy meal, this is the worst it has ever been.
Firstly, Yall need to do something about the beans. I can't even enjoy basic bean and cheese tacos because there are random bits of unmashed, hard as rock beans mixed into the refried beans. I could throw them at the wall and they'd bounce off like stones. It's disgusting. You want to bite into some refried beans and bite down on crunchy bits all mixed into your tacos? I ordered beans, not peanut butter. This has happened any time I order something with beans in it the past few months, as I've tried seeing if it was just a one off situation. I've finally given up on ordering them.
Also someone has been randomly putting loads of black pepper and salt into peoples tacos?? I went last weekend for a dozen tacos; every single one was inedible due to this, and this was never requested to be put on them. By the time we realized. We were back home already, and it wasn't worth driving back.
The service here has gone downhill, they are consistently screwing up orders in the drive thru, the quality of the food is gross. I don't think I can eat here anymore. Quite disappointing. Yall went from a passable 7/10 for those nights where you don't want to cook, to a solid 2 on a good day.
Don't waste your time, until this entire location is redone...
