I recently had the pleasure of dining at Union Bear with a friend of mine as we had never been, and I must say that it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. The service was exceptional, and our server, Christian, was a big part of that. From the moment we walked in the door, I believe the gentleman who greeted us at the door was Griffin. He greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. Christian our server was attentive throughout the meal, making sure that we had everything we needed and answering any questions we had. He even went out of his way to make some recommendations from the menu, which turned out to be some of the best dishes we've ever tasted.

But it wasn't just the service that made our visit to Union Bear so memorable. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We sat on the patio and it was an amazing vibe to be outside but still very much apart of the restaurant. I tried the burger with fries and there was so much flavor and not to mention the food was hot and came quickly from the kitchen. It goes without saying but the meal was outstanding. The portions were generous, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite.

The atmosphere at Union Bear was also top-notch. The decor was modern and inviting, with a perfect blend of casual and upscale elements. The restaurant had a great selection of drinks as well, making for a truly enjoyable evening. We felt comfortable and relaxed throughout our visit, and we never once felt rushed or ignored. Overall, I can't recommend Union Bear enough. UPDATE Jan 2025: As I wrote back in Mar 2024; "No one goes there nowadays, it's too crowded." said Yogi Berra. That was our Sat night supper experience. Another restaurant where we had a gift coupon was full up with 1 1/2 hr wait. So this was an easy choice to switch. We were offered a 20 min wait not too bad. So we settled up at the bar and ordered. One can get a flight of any beers (4 glasses = pint) to try them out. SHE who cashes my retirement check got the Honey Bear drink, very good. After getting comfortable we opted to skip a table seating and would eat at bar. When checking in with host they get your mobile nr. and text you. You can text them back to cancel a table seating. We got two different plates which was plenty of food so be be hungry or take leftovers. The place was just about completely full by the time we left. Friends and family have a good time Sat night. Seating right away and order placed. We got small salad each and split a flatbread. More than enough food. Menu was different on weekday. Not hungry at supper hour later. Order taking is with a hand held computer. When ready to pay server brings ticket, scan QR code which connects to website to pay. Best to have Google Wallet already on phone to take care of paying.
