Read moreI have had good service here before but tonight was a terrible with multiple points of issue.
To start we waited 10 minutes before a server acknowledged us, in an sub busy restaurant. We began by ordering our drinks and appetizer. We asked for 2 waters and 2 alcoholic drinks (one specifically in a tall glass). Queue us getting no waters and both other beverages in short glasses and having to ask again for water. Alone this would be excusable but it continues. The appetizer we got (gauc) was underwhelming but on we went and ordered our mains. One of the mains was the three tacos with the beans and rice. Said beans and rice came out 10 mins before the tacos and the side sauce of gauc/ranch we asked for came out 10 mins after, almost towards us finishing the dish. What stopped us from finishing the dish? It was aluminum foil that we dug out of our mouths from one of the tacos. We almost raised a concern to our server at this point but when we had ordered our mains we had also ordered a coke and had still yet to see any sign of it. When we did we got one slightly less delayed with no apology and a removal of a non empty water glass. Remember we had to ask multiples time for this. So we were not expecting anything from potentially raising our worries. At this point we simply wanted to get up and go so we closed out. It was at this point, after paying a somewhat extortionate price for what we received, the receipt was messaged to me. Upon review I see that I was charged for both the soda I originally asked for and didn't receive and it's replacement. Now the charge isn't a major deal but it capped what is the worse service experience I can...
Read moreI mean well and I do not take pleasure in having to leave a review, but I hope they will improve. We were given a table behind the bar, and my theory is that no one really tends to that table as a normal table as it may be commonly used as a communal location for bar wanderers needing a spot. No problem but we were not waited on as everyone else. To continue my theory, we believe the waitress handling the outside customers was given the responsibility to also tend to our table therefore forgotten several times. Came with a party of 6 for my moms birthday and it really put a damper on the evening. We did not have orders placed in for several minutes. Once we did receive help, there was no customer service to reassure us that we felt they cared. All orders came out cold, and they brought the appetizer out as a dessert when strongly expressing that we needed that specific plate first due to my mother’s dietary needs for potassium at the moment. We wound up having to cancel the appetizer order of course and none of these issues include the poor service and other instances I would rather not state, to believe to have brought up out of spite. Each of the 6 members of the party each had their own experiences with the bad service and I felt I needed to at least say something. Lastly, having the server hover over you while you enter in your payment was very uncomfortable. Especially when she states “You have to make a selection “ referencing the tip as if I was going to sign and not do anything further. It was icing on the cake for...
