Tabacon Cigars and Spirits — Restaurant in Plantation

We had a night and day experience here. Came on the 4th of July and was so disappointed; my fiance almost asked for a refund for his cigar locker. The team that worked that night had one bartender that was outstanding, Kat was her name I believe, but the other woman working was rude, didn’t help customers and almost caused us to complain to management. She spent the night on her phone, not helping people; while the other woman working had to do everything. There was a gentleman there with a beard that seemed to work there but didn’t reprimand her for being rude and not working? I hope he isn’t the manager. We went back tonight to give this place another chance and Karen and Sada redeemed the horrible service we received on the 4th. They should be applauded for making this place one of our favorites again. Please inspect the dynamics of the staff and management here. We are members and expect a certain level of service that Karen and Sada set the first time we came here and showed us that still exists here.

I went on a Saturday night for drinks with a few girlfriends. We were greeted at the entrance by one of the bartenders. None of us smoke so after we sat, she recommended drinks based off of our preference of Liqour. Really nice ambiance and there was even a live band. The music was great but the volume was a little too loud for my taste.

We had only come there for a couple of drinks and as we were getting ready to wrap up, we were caught off guard by a man yelling across the bar to the bartender’s. We thought he was a guest like us because we noticed him drinking at the bar close to where we were sitting. I asked the bartender if the guy was a regular and turns out he was the manager. I couldn’t believe it. I could tell he was inebriated because he started asking everyone loudly at the bar if they were still drinking and saying he was gonna keep the bar open. It honestly made me a bit uncomfortable especially for the girls working. Very unprofessional. This place is great ambience but for that as a manager, I feel bad...

Don’t get me wrong this is nice place to grab a cigar with a friend and have a few drinks. But the girls working here needs training they are atrocious! Money hungry in fact, they are like eagles! and some low self esteem males fall fool to there trap smh 🤦🏽‍♂️. First time here one of the females charged me twice for the same items, I had to dispute the charge with my credit card. Second time here one of the females gave me a box with 0 matches lol, after a couple of drinks I asked for a glass of water she clearly forgot and was sitting in the couch having a drink her self texting on the phone, after I payed my bill and I was leaving she had the nerve to ask me for tip! Smh I had to tell her no respectfully. She tried to get mad with me but I didn’t care I’m not the one, there’s Alotta females in the world I don’t mind coming back but they need some...
