🌟 A Five-Star Shout-Out to Sal, The Night Owl Cookies Manager! 🌟 I cannot express enough how essential Sal is to the incredible experience at Night Owl Cookies. While the cookies themselves are legendary (the Ave Maria is a personal obsession), it’s the management, atmosphere, and service, all driven by Sal’s leadership, that truly set this location apart. Night Owl operates during some of the busiest and latest hours, yet every time I visit, the operation is incredibly smooth and efficient. This is a direct testament to Sal’s stellar organizational skills and his ability to motivate his team. Even when the line stretches out the door late on a Friday night, the staff—always friendly, always smiling—moves with speed and teamwork that is genuinely impressive. As guys are, there is always room for desert. So… we weighed our options, and settled on “ Night Owl Cookies “.

The whole night, I was expected to end off my night, with a good bite. Nothing more, nothing less. Just a good bite.

As I walk into Night Owl Cookies, I’m immediately in a comparison match with crumbl ( as anyone would)

We talk to other customers, we talk to the employees, and everyone SWEARS ( “ without bias “ ) that this place trumps Crumbl.

Now… the long awaited “ good bite “.

As I take a bite, of the Cookies and Cream cookie, I’m expecting to be taken down a journey… all the way to flavor town.

Unfortunately… I’m instantly brought to Midville.

Medicro-city Average Land, if you will.

Just gotta be honest here everyone. This place is not better than crumbl, and flat out mediocre.

Woo-hoo, they're here! I was first introduced to these specialty cookies in Miami a few years ago and have been looking forward to them coming north to Broward! Well, they opened last night (07/12/2024) closer to my home in the Market at Plantation!

After an early dinner next door, I came in for dessert. I was greeted by the crew and their GM, Omar, who gave me a little backstory on the family business that I won't go into so you can hear it firsthand from him. I love that his co-worker is a pastry chef and that their tabletops are filled with fun sprinkles!

So I went with a 4-pack of two of my favorites: Brookie and Oreo Brownie Cheesecake, and added two more that I have yet to try--Funfetti and Rainbow Over Bedrock. I can't wait to come back and bring my grandchildren!
