Now THIS is how you design a shopping center! You could hardly call this a shopping center. Itâs more like a shopping park experience. Absolutely gorgeous and inviting with tons of comfort and personality. Warm brick facades, large shade trees, places to sit, very cozy without being crowded. Designed so that the shops are in the center in little secluded coves rather than having to navigate a giant hot crowded parking lot with. Tons of entrances and exits, lots of trees and landscaping. Whoever designed this deserves an award for coming up with the design. It feels like you have some privacy when you go since there is plenty of trees and grass between you and University Drive, plus there are covered walkways to shade you from the rain and sun. I will always choose to drive to this place rather than the ugly strip malls that are crowded and poorly designed and have no personality. I love this place and wish I could go there more often. If it was next door I would go all the time. It seems like the shops have all been there for a while, not a big turnaround, which to me says itâs a good place for them too. The shopping center is at least 20 years old or older but itâs in amazing condition. It doesnât feel outdated like Sawgrass Mall did after ten years. Classic design, timeless, lovely cozy and warm. If more places in South Florida had this kind of personality and attention to detail I would like it...
Read moreMy family stopped in along with my best friend and his wife and daughter. They told us that the pizza was really good... But of course not everyone's taste is the same. The restaurant is small and gives a family appeal. The day we were there they had a smoker hot deal we jumped on immediately (Large cheese for under $11), and add a topping for another $1.70 I believe. The gentleman that took our order, served us drinks, and our meal was beyond gracious! He treated us as if we were the only ones in the building. Not only was the customer service here Bar None, but even the pizza was so good, I tried everything not to eat more than 3 slices. My 6 year old son on the other hand (to get him to eat anything more than one slice is a act of God). He wound up stuffing 2 down and all the while saying how much he "love this pizza".
We very much enjoyed our time here and to add to the good time, they had a couple options for wine and domestic beer.
If there was one thing I would add or make a suggestion, it would be to have a couple options of beers on tap, especially the Ambers and Lagers.
If we ever head back to that area, we...

Ah, The Fountains in Plantation â where time stands still and so does progress.
Ever wondered what itâs like to shop in a plaza that feels like it peaked during the Blockbuster era? This is your chance! From the crumbling parking lot with mystery speed bumps (or are they sinkholes?) to the signs that havenât seen design updates since dial-up internet â itâs a full aesthetic.
Store selection? Iconic. If your icons are "vacant," "under renovation," or "we're open but don't know why." Walking around feels like a treasure hunt, except instead of treasure, you find sadness and a Ross.
Need help or directions? Donât worry â no one else knows where anything is either. Itâs like a Bermuda Triangle of retail. You go in for one thing, lose an hour of your life, and come out with an existential crisis.
A must-visit for fans of outdated plazas, faded signage, and the occasional whiff of mystery fast food grease. One star â only because negative stars arenât a...
