We finally attended Serious Sanji in Plantation and we were seriously disappointed. Do not go there if you are expecting waiter/waitress table service or to be welcomed. First, you have to order through the QR Reader on your SmartPhone to access the Serious Sanji menu and place your order. This takes too long due to the state of the WiFi service. Then, if you are not careful, you may wind up giving your credit card information to some advertiser as at the bottom of the online menu there is a "Start" button in green that gives the impression that is part of the ordering procedure. It is not. When I got home I immediately contacted my credit card company to fight a "pending" $3.95 charge from a company that was not Serious Sanji. Second, you have to get up to get your silverware, napkins, glasses, water and additional plates. Third, the tables, if you can find any, are not properly cleaned. Fourth, that Robot server that brings your food is annoying and loud. Robot servers are a once cute Asian restaurant novelty that is no longer cute or novel. Fifth, the food is overpriced based on portion size. Sixth, although the Shang Hai Soup Dumplings and the Mango Iced Green Tea we ordered were both okay, the salt and pepper chicken wings and the vegetable spring rolls were awful. Total price with tax was $29.75. If I ever return, it would be a take out order for the...
Read moreAll these negative reviews about this place are absolutely ridiculous! I can't believe some people have the audacity to complain about every little thing just to undermine the reputation of a perfectly good establishment. Seriously, get a life! Find a job, be a positive role model, or maybe just get a hug because clearly, you need it. Ugh, it's so frustrating! Now, let me express my feelings and impressions about this place. Wait before it all a ROBOT was our waiter My wife and I were fortunate enough to be the second customers when they opened, and let me tell you, the ambiance of this place is simply adorable. From the charming signage to the cozy atmosphere, it's evident that they've put a lot of effort into creating a traditional and inviting setting. And the menu? Oh boy, it's a food lover's dream! We decided to try a little bit of everything, and let me tell you, the portions were generous. Even someone like me, who's not exactly short, had more than enough to satisfy their appetite. The flavors of the dishes were spot on, and I couldn't be happier with our dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a delicious and fulfilling meal. Just make sure to come with a big appetite because you're definitely going to need it. I absolutely...
Read moreWould not come back! I eat regularly at asian restaurants and this place was fine. Would not recommend simply because of the subpar service.
The food was good but felt overpriced for a lot of the items. The drinks weren't great, and this was one of the issues. Ordered a Milk tea with Brown Sugar Boba and when I got tried it, there was clearly jelly and not tapioca in the drink. I thought it was an honest mistake so I got up to ask.
When I got to the reguster there was a shorter lady with black hair in a pony tail standing there. I let her know what I thought was a mix up and she proceeded to tell me I got what I ordered. When I told her it wasnt boba she said that WAS their black sugar boba and showed me a bowl with actual tapioca in it and said "This is our tapioca. Order right next time."
I was completely bewildered at being told I had 'ordered wrong' when I definitely know what boba is and jelly is not it. I walked away at that point, since she seemed not to care that I didnt like the drink and was expecting me to order and pay for another if I wanted something different. Never had that kind of rude experience at a restaurant before and as such, I won't be...
