Kneaders Bakery Grand Opening in Pleasant Grove: A Morning to Remember
Attending the grand opening of Kneaders Bakery in Pleasant Grove was a delightful experience for me and my kids. We were among the lucky first 100 customers, which meant we got to enjoy their famous French toast for free—a treat that did not disappoint!
The event began early at 7 am, with a pre-dawn chill still in the air. As we arrived, the bakery was alive with excitement. We counted down to the grand opening alongside a crowd of eager customers. When the ribbon was finally cut by a giant pair of scissors, it marked the official start of a beautiful morning. The Pleasant Grove High School band provided live music, adding a vibrant, local touch to the event. Balloons floated in the air, and a city councilman was present to lend some local prestige.
The founders of Kneaders were there, personally greeting customers, which gave the event a warm, community feel. It felt like more than just the opening of a bakery; it was a celebration of something special coming to our neighborhood.
By the time we had finished our delicious French toast, the sun had risen, casting a soft, golden light on what was turning into a perfect day. The bakery, with its welcoming ambiance and delicious food, is sure to be a favorite stop for us in the future.
It was such a fun and memorable way to kick off a new chapter for Kneaders in Pleasant Grove, and I’m glad we got to be part of...
Read moreI’ve been to this Kneaders location a few times since it opened. While the food is good, the staff (specifically drive thru) seems to need more training when it comes to special requests.
Across the Kneaders franchise, they tend to be stingy with sauces, so I’ve gotten in the habit of asking for extra sauce on the side. Every single time I’ve done that at this location, they’ve left the sauce off the sandwich entirely and just given me a small amount on the side. During my most recent visit I even made sure to clearly state, “I want sauce on my sandwich AND extra sauce on the side.” What I got was a dry sandwich with no sauce at all and nothing on the side, so I had to go back and ask for it.
My situation isn’t the end of the world, but after about half a dozen visits and the same issue happening every time, it’s frustrating. I’m writing this mostly so management is aware and can train staff on the difference between “extra sauce on the side” and “sauce on the side.”
There's also the concern for how this may affect people with allergies or dietary restrictions who might not realize their order wasn’t made correctly. A dry sandwich is just annoying, but for someone else, a mistake like that could be a...
Read moreAfter waiting 20 minutes in the drive-through, pinned between two cars so I could not escape.,in 90?degree heat I finally received my order which was disappointing to say the least. The customer waiting in front of me finally got out of her car and started banging on the window to get an employees attention. She told me she had never waited so long for food. . I had Turned off my engine to prevent overheating until I could not bear the inside heat any longer I told the employee at the speaker i needed my salad to be made with Romain lettuce and not the spring mix. My son is allergic to spinach. I thought I had ordered the large salad but instead I received the small salad. I also requested that my bread pudding be heated, which it was not. I was so outraged. I promptly went in and asked for my money back, which the manager happily refunded me, but it was not worth my time in the heat or the risk to my son’s health They did not attend to any of my ordering requests. The food is overpriced and the portions ridiculous ridiculously small. It cost $.50 to get one extra salad dressing. Two salad dressings barely barely are enough to cover a large salad. This kneaders is not getting a...
