Oh my gosh it was so much fun!!! I went with a friend(we’re both college students) and my little sister (she’s fifteen) and had a blast! We were convinced at the ticket stand to pay a little extra for the haunted corn maze. We were skeptical, as none of us really like scary things. But the tickets were so cheap, we figured if we got the tickets and didn’t use them it would be alright for our college student budgets. As soon as we entered the grounds, we were ushered to the haunted maze by a lady who I assumed was the owner. We were absolutely terrified to go in. So much so that the girl at the beginning had to assure us we would be okay. We got a few steps in and heard someone yelling to us. It was way too creepy for us and we jumped when a small cat came out of the corn. We used that as an excuse to exit the maze before actually running into the actors. We took the cat to the main barn and they told us it was actually their cat (she was so soft and fluffy) and that if we wanted to try the haunted maze again, they’d let us because we’d brought the cat in. Well, we tried again. In order to keep from being absolutely terrified, we kept asking the actors random questions. They were pretty good about it and some of them came up with really great answers! The chainsaw guy was the best by far! When we finally got finished with all the jump scares, we saw the owner again and told her what a fabulous job they all were doing! She even agreed to make the chainsaw guy the spook of the night! We did a few other activities and found the cat again, but it was too late in the night to do that much. Overall, we had an amazing experience and I will definitely be...
Read moreWe spent 8 hours here today it was an absolute blast!!! We went for our last homeschool activity before summer with Options Day through Harmony in American Fork:) They picked the best field trip place to end an awesome year with them:)
Hee Haw farms was huge and had so much to do for the kids! Tons of slides, a zip line, a huge corn pit, and lots of animals to feed and pet! I even enjoyed putting my feet in the corn pit:) I could have done the slides too:) From my 2 year old, all the kids in between, to my 14 year old and parents who came, all had a great time:) It is definitely family and finance friendly:)
I loved that the staff was very friendly and we got a fun little lesson about the importance of farms and these animals that help to provide so many things we enjoy eating and drinking:) I definitely felt grateful for farmers and animals after this:)
There were many areas for parents to sit and watch their kids like benches and tables and swings:) It was especially nice to eat at the table under the pavillion and when it rained under that and the corn pit roof was a nice sheltered spot:)
The bathrooms were a little walk away, but super nice and clean. Gotta love indoor plumbing:) I felt kind of bad needing to take kids back and forth through their really awesome and clean market place. It was beautifilly packed with fresh farm made foods and drinks, and other things that I would have liked to take more time to check out. We got some raw milk before heading home, and I am excited to try it:) I highly recommend coming here and taking the whole family...
Read moreI knew coming here I had very low expectations due to the recent one star ratings. They stand correct. The female turkeys are literally standing in small pens in a pile of their own feces, and their water had larva in it. Absolutely appalling. The chickens at least had a bigger pen, but the water was not fresh and had larva in it as well. So our first impression was not the best. The little girl that was in our group was begging us to call the police because the animals were being mistreated. Her heart was broken. We then went over to the goat pen, which was by far the best experience we’ve ever had petting goats. We spent a lot of time in here and got to pet some of the cutest goats we have ever seen. Baby goats, mama goats, big goats.. they were all super friendly and adorable. We also went over to see the pig pens and the adorable baby pigs. The highland cow’s coat was extremely matted. Not like the previous highlands we went to a few weeks ago where they were all brushed and taken care of. The whole farm situation was run down and kinda depressing. From someone who owns poultry, this is no way to treat them in small pens and dirty water. This place seems to have put all their time and energy into their store, cafe and entertainment establishment. Which was gorgeous. I think they now need to make the farm area better and it has some amazing potential. That being said, my daughter was so in love with the goats we will be back. It’s cheaper than other farms we have been too and you don’t have a time limit. Let the photos speak...
