"5-shot Gloria" says hello to her hometown PEET's. As always the staff is Fabulous, Friendly & loved like Family! Thanks all for getting it right everytime-way to go!! ;-)
Con's: Ham & Swiss Croissants have been discontinued ---please please please bring them back!
$$$$$Prices are now outrageous for Espresso shots~5shots Esspresso = $4.80 daily! you do the math. I have been a loyal PEET's customer business/personal since 1986 or so and now I get the sense that "CORPORATE" doesn't care about the little guy or community since Mr. Peet past.
Price adjustments for certain drink types seriously need analysis.
Store locations - not the problem! Staffing/Customer service - not the problem! Product Quality - not the problem! Prices - Serious issue, you are pricing out your long time loyal customers. Socializing with other patrons at most PEET's in the area seem to feel the same way and many of us simply feel we can't continue to pay your prices. It will be a sad day when some of us will no longer patronize your Company. It's always unhappy customers that will spread their dissatisfaction to as many as possible - and so on.
CORPORATE PEET'S - Do you care anymore? It is time to adjust the way you charge for multiple shots when that's the full order. What does it cost PEET'S for 5-shots of espresso - surely you can see your greed? Perhaps a rewards program for serious loyal customers, seniors on fixed /low incomes, folks who may be living on only a disability income. There are some adjustments you can make to show you care for...
Read moreNot a customer-friendly branch at all A) The restroom requires a pin and there is only 1 for the entire store.... so they want only their customers to use them. B) They have only 2 outlets for the entire store which are hardly accessible, which is very inconvenient and despite this branch being open for many years seems like, their customer's comfort is least of their concerns otherwise this issue would have been addressed by now. C) Once I was sitting there working, the barista kept coming a couple of inches from me showing in the chairs (inches from me) or making adjustments to the stuff around me (within very close approximately), like my privacy was unimportant or my comfort did not matter. (or maybe I would have been considered important or a legit customer have I been White and not middle eastern)
Overall not a pleasant experience and it is obvious customers are not concerned about this branch whatsoever based on the reasons mentioned above.
I would appreciate if the leaders that are going to respond to this review, instead of using cliche tactics or excuses such as arguing why the restrooms should have a lock to prevent the homeless from camping there, be more reasonable with their responses and do something to improve...
Read moreAs much as I appreciated Peet’s remodel, which created a lovely updated environment (downtown Pleasant Hill really deserved that), I am disappointed in its customer service at this location. This is my third time here experiencing poor customer service, and I’ve finally decided to speak out. As much as I would like to steer away from the idea that bad customer service is due to hiring very young people, because this sounds such a cliché, there may be some truth about it, at this specific location. I observed over and over again lack of friendliness, smiling, kindness, and workers being plain uncaring for clients. They talk with each other constantly, loudly, and at times using cuss words. Nothing wrong with enjoying each other‘s company while they work long hours, however, not in a way that a client whether at the cash register, or picking up a drink, or sitting at a table, might feel like an afterthought. I don’t know if this is a new training model for Peet’s, but I think this company should put a little more energy into teaching (and enforcing) the importance and value of customer service. I love you Peet’s, and I and my whole family have been your loyal client for decades,...
