Came to Crescent Bistro this past Sunday afternoon for brunch with my mom and we got sat immediately. To start off, our server came to the table and said nothing but gestured her hand to signify to speak. We let her know our order and she leaves. I had ordered an arnold palmer to drink and requested waters for the table. The waters were brought out by the sever and my additional drink was brought out after our food came (not the biggest deal). I had ordered the eggs benedict which was just ok whereas my mom ordered the avocado toast with smoked salmon. She complained to me that the salmon was extremely fishy and she couldn’t eat it, even feared the risk of food poisoning. After awhile, we finish our food and our server is absolutely nowhere to be found. The last time we saw her was when she dropped my beverage off, there was no check in’s to see if everything was alright and she seemed to be ignoring an entire area of the section she was serving. About 20 minutes pass by after we finish our food and my mom decides to get up and find somewhere help. She tells a male server that we haven’t seen our server in a long time and he replied in a very condescending tone saying he can’t help her because she doesn’t know who her server is. We literally didn’t even know her name since she didn’t even say a word to us. The server FINALLY comes out to drop the check like nothing happened.
I’ve attached a picture, but I do find it extremely suspicious and off putting that the original receipt I was given had a different subtotal and suggested tip amount compared to the signed receipt. I’ve never seen this before and it left a very bad taste in my mouth
I’m a server in a different restaurant in the local area and value my customer service and hospitality, I just find it disappointing how terrible the service. I understand having a lot of tables but ask for help from your teammates and managers maybe. Please do better and train your staff on how to manage their tables and provide...
Read moreWe had amazing service on our first visit to Crescent Bistro. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing without feeling intimidating or overly swanky -- just really welcoming. Our waitress was a joy and she was so helpful with finding the best things on the menu and helping me decide. I took her advice about the beet salad and the navy bean, kale and sausage soup. The soup was fantastic. And I don't know when or if I've enjoyed a salad so much.
My partner and I shared a plate of deviled eggs made with cured salmon and a dill and crème' fresh drizzle. Wow! It was a little too spicy hot for me, but I'm a wimp with hot spice. In my conversation with the waitress, I mentioned it was my birthday and she brought out a special treat of a gooey brownie with caramel sauce and toasted marshmallow fluff! It was only half a brownie, but it was so gooey and rich that I couldn't finish and had to bring half of it home. I was thankful that there was no birthday song to go along with it -- Whew!
My partner got the butternut squash risotto with grilled shrimp on top. It was creamy and delicious. He also ordered an amazing looking Mocha in a good sized mug. I don't drink coffee, but it looked delicious.
Even though we arrived 30 minutes before closing, our kind waitress kept reminding us that there was no rush and we could take our time. That was a nice treat to feel relaxed and able to enjoy the meal fully.
This restaurant was not busy when we went, which was great, but I hope everyone discovers it so it doesn't shut down like the wonderful Pasta Pomodoro before. Please eat here. I want this place to stay open! There are so few restaurants left that have a warm, inviting atmosphere where you don't feel robbed by the time you pay your bill! Love this place. I'll keep coming back.
Oh, by the way, our waitress told us that brunch on Saturday and Sunday goes until 4pm and it's fantastic. Can't...
Read moreWe decided to try out Crescent Bistro, and it was a cozy and beautiful spot—perfect for a family gathering! The ambiance was charming and inviting, blending a cozy feel with modern decor. The elegant exterior welcomed us, and the warmly lit, beautifully designed bar area made the setting even more special. The crescent moon detail above the bar added a unique touch, tying into the bistro’s name and theme. It truly felt like a place where you could relax and savor good food with loved ones.
Here’s what we ordered:
• Sweet Corn Risotto: My brother-in-law enjoyed this dish, and it looked hearty and beautifully plated. • Bistro Burgers: Mommy, my sister, and I couldn’t resist trying their signature burger. My sister and I paired it with fries, and Mom opted for a salad. The burgers were flavorful and juicy—a definite win! • Nuggets and Fries: My niece went for the classic kid’s choice and seemed pretty happy with it. • Strawberry Lemonade: I also tried their strawberry lemonade—refreshing and just the right amount of sweet.
Not only was the food great, but our server was absolutely lovely—attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Crescent Bistro’s ambiance, delicious food, and wonderful service made it a delightful choice for a laid-back...
