Zachary's Chicago Pizza — Restaurant in Pleasant Hill

Came to Zachary's PH location yesterday (June 2019) after being to the Berkeley location many times.

It's a little larger than the Berkeley location and was pretty busy for about 545 PM on a Thursday so I can only imagine the weekends. There is a parking garage near by so if you can't find street parking you can park in the garage!

Our waitress (Monica) was very friendly and attentive! She made sure we got everything we needed. Other employees that checked on our table were also very nice! Great staff!

My friend ordered the spinach and mushroom pizza (only comes stuffed) and I got the Zachary's special! We got some Caesar salads to start and they were so tasty!! They put lots of cheese on top which I love. If you don't love cheese might want to ask for light cheese. Both pizzas were very good! Taste was absolutely on point! The quality is definitely there! If you've been to Berkeley (college ave) location you will not be disappointed in this location! We brought the pizza we had leftover home to eat for lunch and even out of the microwave the next day the taste was still there! Can't...

We were there at 3 pm Today (Saturday ) we orders large pizza , half chicken special and half Spinsh and mushroom we waited exactly 1hour and 5 min people next to our table got pizza before us even they came 15 min later then us . So after waiting long time we got pizza your couldn’t tell which half is vegi and which half is spinsh and Mushroom So I look for my server she wasn’t around some one else came so I ask her would you tell me which half is vegi and which half is with chicken , she said let me get the manager because she couldn’t tell either . So Mr manager show up and start digging our pizza he was thinking we will eat that after he start digging your food to look for chicken pieces because even he couldn’t tell what is what . So we offed 2 of 16 oz beer so I just left $40 and leave because I just count stand for the services we received and it was our first time...

This review is not food related, the food was really good. This is about the service we barely got. So it all started with us calling to get the wait time, we were told no wait time. We arrived about 15 minutes laters and told the hostess we needed a table for 5 and she told us it would be around 20-25 minutes for a table. I wonder why... We pre-order 2 pizzas and wait for the table, which there was 3 open, 2 inside and 1 outside. By like the 24th minute, we suddenly get called, and only 1 table had cleared in all that time. Now, I hate to assume and accuse, but we definitely got racial profiled and had to wait for no reason. As soon as our card said we would be seated by that certain time, we were. But we didn't have too because they had open tables. Last time we go to this location. Too bad these experiences ruin it for the establishment. Food was good though. But...
