Tried picking up my mobile order thru the drive thru. They didn't hear me at the speaker about my second mobile order. So we proceded thru the drive thru and I tried telling them about my mobile order at the food window They rudely refused to help us and told us to go around again to the first window. So we drive around again, skip the speaker, and go to the first window like she said. Then upon reaching the first window we tell her about the mobile order. Then she starts freaking out and Insulting us saying don't you know how to you a drivethru and listen correctly and started swearing at us and causing a giant commotion and having literally a screaming match thru the window over something that we were told to do by restaurant employees, only to get freaked out on and insulted by more employees. Then they told us that they refused to serve us saying that we swore at them and it's their right not to serve us. So then we pulled to the next window and sat there for a couple minutes while all the employees just stood there looking at us thru the closed window and after like 5 minutes they just say again the refuse to serve us. So I canceled my order via app and we drive off. The staff at this location are a joke and were insensitive as they could possibly be about this situation. Completely unprofessional, rude, and a pathetic excuse for employees that you want to represent your company and it's reputation. Because after this experience i never want to visit another McDonald's the rest of my life and I'll make sure to tell as many people as I can about this situation to make sure they know how much of a joke this company's employees can treat...
Read moreI mean, it's McDonald's. It's clean and the employees are nice. The food is also McDonald's food, but not gross or anything! They're doing a good job.
Edit: many reviews are being incredibly rude to the staff here. On top of me, personally, having only positive interactions with all of them, it makes me feel like many people who review this location forgwf the staff are people, and not robots built to serve you and bend to your every whim.
I say "it's McDonald's" because that's a major factor in the work conditions. Their jobs are tough, and they don't make much. Food service, even in it's best conditions, is a terribly stressful line of work. Even if you aren't slaving over an oven, you have to deal with people who only see you as a source of food, and will become incredibly and increasingly angry with you for not being able to make materials appear out of thin air.
Don't just write a review about how much you hate the employees because you were too hungry to be patient for people who are doing the job of several people at once.
Go work minimum wage customer service Once. A large public chain. At least three months with full weeks. Make it around a holiday too. Then you'll go back and see that these reviews...
Read moreFor someone who doesn't drive it can be lightly annoying as you never know if they are going to allow you inside or not as it's a crapshoot to whether or not their doors are open. You can order curbside on the app, but that takes a while after you've discovered that the doors aren't open.
They are fairly quick though, and most of the time I can make it in and out in under 15 minutes. Which is a lot better than some of the other food choices in the plaza.
You cannot pay cash if you go inside as they do not tend the registers and have signs up saying to use the kiosks. If you have a problem with said kiosk and it directs you to pay at the register? Good luck! They will ignore you for a good while before they figure out what's going on. Not sure if it's a short staff sort of situation or if they are just choosing to direct their manpower elsewhere but I do deeply miss being able to pay cash.
It's rare someone is particularly happy or friendly- but I...
