Horrible Customer Service I didn't want give 1 star, but that's google reviews policy. I went in after work my husband wanted crabs. This is our go to spot in the area for crabs. Today will be my last day patronizing this place. I came in placed my order with the older woman in the front. When I received my order it was wrong. I ordered 2 dozen crabs. I wanted different spices on each dozen. I let the older women who took my order know 1 of the dozen was wrong. She said okay I will fixed it. When she told the heavy set women in the back that was completing the orders that it was wrong. She immediately got irritated. She proceeded to say well I don't understand what she wants as if I wasn't standing there. I told her that I can explain what I wanted. It was just 2 spices, that's it on 1 of the dozen. She still said I don't know what she wants and started slamming pans around. I was appauld and in shock. She told the older women, I don't have time for this, you do it. The older woman which is the owner did it with no problem. At this point I was just ready to get my money back. I spent $50. I called my husband and let him know what just took place, and that I was not going to come back here ever again. So now the heavy set woman in the back starts going off again and said, I hear you talking about me and says to me if you don't like it then go to Bob's Seafood in Absecon. She told the owner hurry up and get her out of here. I was in shock she was acting this way towards me. I wasn't causing any problems. At this point I'm upset I told her she is being very rude and unprofessional and her customer service sucks. She slammed those pans around the whole time I was there. She literally was coming at me like a bully. I don't know if it's because I was African-American because of the way I was treated. But I will say that this place needs to be boycotted by the way they treat the African American customers. This was not the first time I heard of them being nasty to someone in the African American community. Let them hurt in their pockets maybe they will treat people better. This is an experience I will never forget. I will make sure I let everyone that I know not to patronize this place. Bob's just gained a...
Read moreSo my Mom ordered 2 dozens of their garlic crabs yesterday when she came home and we began to eat them they were very over cooked so we tried to call and realized it was closing time and we had to throw them away so she called today and the answer that was given was there was nothing that they could do we should have brought them back now what where we suppose to do leave them outside of their door no we threw them away . What I feel would be good business is to be compensated for their error upon cooking the crabs correctly she paid for 2 dozens of garlic crabs not 2 dozen of mashed potatoes crabs which was the texture. Could have easily remedied the situation by offer to replace the crabs that were over cooked and were paid for . No the only response she recieved was there is nothing we can do . I never do reviews on places but to get the response my Mom received after explaining the situation that they were closed by the time she came home and we began to eat the crabs . "Nothing we can do." Was the response. So my reply to that is I myself will NEVER go...
Read more1st Timer and my thoughts are: Weird...we arrived here at 11:40 today and it looked closed. All lights were out so I called to see if they were going to open and a female answered and sounded very irritated when I called. I asked if they were open and she barked "we're here". I said i am sitting in the lot and it appeared you are closed....no response other than "we're here" in a bitchy, crass tone. I walked in and there were two guys doing something with clams and one said "were trying" when I asked if they were open. There were two tiny tables and appeared to be one chair. I decided not to eat here..there were enough red flags to say "move on". If you can't interact with your customers and be an ambassador to your brand, you don't deserve customers. It's a shame really...we drove an hour and a half to...
