Starbucks — Restaurant in Plymouth Township

Not sure who I spoke with tonight, but their insistence that I am definitely not tasting a disgusting chemical flavor in my vanilla latte and that I'm the only person to ever complain of this is unfortunate. And I am sure they typically use "super special, no chemicals that would leave a taste" cleaning wipes, but I wouldn't at all be surprised if the barista making my drink ran out and used a tub of Target brand wipes to clean the frothing nozzle. Her insistence that I should come back to remake the drink was absolutely disingenuous to boot because she didn't bother to take my name or information.

Terrible Service. I got in line today, I was behind 1 other person. Took 3 mins for any of the 3 employees to even acknowledge the first person in line. She finally gets her order in and before anything is even started the male employee tells the other two that he's making himself a drink and going on break! Makes his drink, while on the clock before any customer can get their drink made, then clocks out and goes on break before the ONLY employee actually working does anything. All I was getting was a bag of coffee. Starbucks is garbage here but the service is worse, Can't wait to see how terrible everything gets when these lazy employees are getting...

So. All the nearby Starbuckses were closed. I help out at my sister's coffee shop, I do understand the staffing shortage. But I REALLY wanted a matcha latte. Also, I was in need of an Impossible sandwich. The Impossible sausage you can buy and make at home just isn't as good. I walked in, doubting they'd have any.. But they did!!!! My night was made! And, the barista, despite being alone, was so pleasant and kind. She made my pistachio oat milk iced matcha JUST PERFECT. I was so relieved.
