The staff are spread well, knowledgeable of their own areas and keen to direct you to someone who can answer you if not. I have never left without finding what I wanted or being told of either another store with it or where else carries such a thing.
Most employees will take one on one time with you of an almost seemingly unlimited amount and even walk throughout with you if you ask them to (I have extreme social anxiety, but because of ji , she allowed me to upgrade so much and as a result spend and benefit the company too, right?)
The store has just about everything and anything that falls under technology and things that work within the technological realm, so as a result it would be almost impossible to be anything less than a 4.
My score was a 4. Why did they lose that point? Personality matters and in the end if the store fits your needs and feels welcoming you will return. Being a big box retailer doesn't mean you just lose automatically or win automatically, all this being said. - getting your parts online after going to best buy and writing specs down will often save you a few hundred dollars and only costs patience,

New visit update - One pro, One con.
Pro - Person who found me was willing to work with me and walk me through the store to whatever I needed.
Con - Person who found me insisted on explaining every single aspect of anything he knew about but would stare around as soon as he was unable to answer a question. In this case, we wound up getting nothing when we were aiming to spend a little under 10grand max.
I feel like they must lose out on bigger sales because people get caught in the eyes of an employee who either - walks off/pretends they didn't see you - or has no idea and "this is not my area, let me find someone".
Some folk I refuse to name here (but made sure to save their info just in case) really take their job for granted. This group of 5 employees was flagrantly joking around in middle of store while me and my father asked 3 dif people for help and finally a fourth semi-shouted "ILL DO IT".
He proceeded to load us up with 6 items we didn't really NEED, but would buy but thank you cashiers near the phones for noticing nothing I had in my hands worked together. The guy who pointed me to everything was -literally- ignoring me.
Take that most recent, and frankly, atrocious visit, under consideration.
(Currently dealing with 4 diff return issues BC the plans were not explained correctly and the "deal" was literally more expensive than what is offered from them...
Read moreThis review is in part this store and part Best Buy in general. They do not stand by their warranty replacement so I wouldn't bother with the protection packages through them.
I purchased a phone with protection packages for my daughter. A month and a half before the package ran out, she cracked the screen.
I make an appointment to get the screen fixed. I get there, they don't have the part on hand. So, they have to send me a new phone, not the end of the world.
We receive the replacement. A month and a half later, literally a few days after the extended warranty expires, the phone stops powering on.
I call best buy, tell them the replacement they sent me died in a month and a half. They told me they couldn't do anything about it but to call google bc the refurbished uni should be in warranty through them.
I contact Google. They tell me the warranty is based on the original purchase not the replacement date and Best Bu should handle it.
I call Best Buy back. They tell me to come into the store and they will handle it. I come to this location and proceed to tell me they cannot do anything unless I buy another protection package.
So, in essence, they wanted me to pay for another protection packages to replace the defective unit their protection packages send me a month prior. They also reiterated that it is under warranty by Google.
I call Google back. They said it was not but we could conference Best Buy into the call so we could figure this out.
Google and I connect with BestBuy. Their support said there was nothing they could do, it would have to be handled by the store. So, they transfer us back to this store.
The store said come in and we will handle it. I said I was in earlier and nothing was resolved. I would like some assurances before I came back it would in fact be fixed. They said they would transfer me to a team that handle it.
They transferred me to a closed department and the call disconnected. I will never buy a extended warranty package from them again, if I shop there at all. They do not stand by their work or their...
Read moreOne star is too much, as it implies this location deserves anything. I went there to browse the laptops they had, but was not planning on buying one, seeing as amazon sold the same model for cheaper. However, I happened to find a "Open Box" item, that met my requirements and would have saved me a few bucks. I asked a few employees in and around the section for help, all of which told me they didn't work in the laptop department - and then proceeded to walk away and do nothing to get an employee who could help. I thought I was in luck when a manager passed by, and asked for his help. He said he was helping another customer with something and would be right back. At this point the only employee working the entire laptop section, who was helping another customer, told me that as soon as he was finished he would help me. I told him the laptop I was interested in, and he said OK. As I waited, I decided to watch the manager who said he was helping someone else and would be back to help me. He proceeded to walk around to various co-workers, laughing it up, having casual conversations, and eventually landed next to another co-worker for a nice, deep conversation. Did he forget? No, because I decided to go over and see if he was free yet. His response? "No not yet, we're trying to get something sorted out." I headed back over to the laptop department, where that sole employee was now free. He asked what he could help me with (I had already told him) but I told him again. His response? Oh yeah, that last customer just bought that laptop. Sorry."
This experience at this Best Buy was my single worst customer service experience I have ever had - at ANY retail store. It spanned multiple employees, multiple levels of the employee hierarchy/management and ended with insult to injury. I have never, and will never, go back to any Best Buy and have already, and will continue, to tell anyone I can to stay away. Absolutely and...
