I am absolutely disgusted with this restaurant. I have been there twice in the past week and both times have had abysmal service. The first visit my waitress repeatedly forgot refills and condiments that I had requested while sitting at a nearby table laughing with friends instead of taking care of me and my friend. Later in the meal when one of her friends told her I was a server did she come to apologize for the service and start taking better care of us. Today however was simply ridiculous. I honestly didn't really want to go because of the bad service on Sunday, but my friend I was with had a Groupon so she conned me into going. The waitress was just as horrid as the previous waitress, concerning herself with tables that had older patrons and skipping over ours, the appetizer arrived at nearly the same time as the entrees even though we put it in 5-10 min earlier, and generally seemed unconcerned with our happiness. The food once out was decent, except for some very undercooked rice, but the service had really just put us off. At the end we went to pay and were told the Groupon we had tried to use needed to be printed, seemed off, but we accepted this and paid via card. However, upon looking at the fine print we found there was no rule about this on the Groupon voucher so we asked for a manager. The manager was extremely combative, brash, and all around annoyed that we would arise an issue with her ruling. I explained that we were just trying to understand how they could have this printed rule, but not have it listed on the website, in the building, or in any other way for someone to know before they payed. I offered to allow her to void the transaction and pay cash, but she angrily insisted she just give $30 cash back instead. I have been a server for 5 years and this is by far the worst reaction from an employee of any service industry establishment I have ever experienced. I don't know who this woman was or how she thought I was react to her berating me, but this was so awkwardly condescending that I left immediately after my discussion with her rather than even finishing my drink. I will never frequent this establishment again, and will insist that no one of my greater group of industry friends do either. We will be taking our business to the post instead...
Read moreOur experience started with two waitresses arguing over our table. We were talking to the one and she rolled her eyes and just walked away when we were talking to her when she learned the other waitress had our table. The drinks were good. The food was not good at all. We ordered appetizers and they were poorly put together. The loaded tater tots the toppings were burned. The chilli and cheese was hard that were on the tater tots. The crab stuffed mushrooms tasted like they were stuffed with canned tuna. They tasted cheap. We had bread sticks with beer cheese. The beer cheese was cold. We didn't even bother to try the main menu. The table next to us had pizza and I regret not getting the pizza it did look amazing. I'm assuming owner was the one that came to us and apologized. Honestly it was a quick apology and I started to talk to him he completely ignored me because he didn't care. He walked away. It was almost like he just stopped by to act sincere when really he wasn't. We will not be back. I do not...
Read moreI can't stress enough how crucial excellent service and respectful employees are for a successful business. Sadly, this establishment in Plymouth failed spectacularly on both counts. Despite the city's charm, my visit here was a regrettable mistake.
Arriving at this place late at night, I was appalled by the chaotic and unsafe atmosphere. The doorman, sporting a braided beard, was downright disrespectful. He accused me of slurring my words after just two dinner drinks and denied me entry, dismissively saying, "Maybe next time." Well, let me assure you, there will never be a next time and I told this straight to his face.
Avoid this place if you value being treated with respect and decency. There are far better options in Plymouth that actually care about...
