It satisfied the craving but the food is fairly bland overall. We were also missing an order of beef lo mein so we ended up having to split the beef chow mein so that my roommate was happy. We did get some kind of pork mixed with onions in place of the missing beef lo mein but it was really bland and had an "off" taste so we just ended up throwing it in the trash. The rest of the food was just "okay" but the fortune cookies were pretty much terrible. I at least can't imagine they were supposed to taste like a very stale graham cracker with no taste but they did. They had that "doughy" consistency too that stale graham crackers get where it's like trying to rip a wet piece of cardboard apart.

If you are planning on having some friends over or a movie night where Chinese food is going to be the main course, I would highly recommend China House in Walkerton. I was very disappointed with my meal. I grew up eating here and I haven’t gotten food from here in over five years. Today I wanted Chinese food for a Mother’s Day dinner for my sister and myself. Nothing was how it was when I last ate here. I feel like I should warn others to order from here with caution. First thing the food was not how they used to prepare it. Their brown sauce tasted like soy sauce and was not very good it was just very salty. My second main issue is the crabrangoons had barely anything in them and they tasted mostly like cream cheese. The sauce and crabrangoons didn’t not taste right at all unfortunately. The chicken orders we got were soggy and the outside was dough like. Not pleasant to eat. The food was so subpar. First time there. I got the beef and broccoli and the beef was actually slimy and had absolutely no flavor. All of our meals came with pork fried rice which was yellow and had literally no flavor. The vegetables in it looked gross they were covered in like a white coating and one of the pieces of pork actually looked like it had fur.
