KFC — Restaurant in Plymouth

Used to be KFC and A&W but now it's just KFC. Kind of a bummer man. They serve MUG rootbeer instead of A&W which is also a bummer.

The potatoes come out piping hot and so does the chicken. If you don't burn your mouth on either, you're doing it wrong.

Take the lid off your potatoes and have 1 bite right away to burn your mouth to get the delicious gravy flavor then eat your biscuits while the potatoes are cooling.

You can get an extra biscuit with your $5 fill-up for $0.89 more. I use their remarkably fluffy biscuits only as a vessel to eat their honey sauce.

Let's move on to the chicken.

My advice is to eat the skin off the chicken first (extra crispy is the best), then burn your mouth again as you eat the chicken.

After the chicken is consumed, you MIGHT be able to eat potatoes again without burning your mouth... but it's a real coin toss... I would buy just the gravy in bulk so I can drink it alone... but I do not wish onlookers to judge. Would probably make a good soup if watered down a bit.

Couldn't find a gift card for KFC locally so we went to the N Michigan St store. We ask at the drive-thru speaker if we could get a card (for $25) there or should we come inside to get it. Girl said come on to the drive-thru, just come up to the window, though. (duh?)(what other option did she have in mind?). At the window she asked for $8.25. All I heard was 25, so I handed her a 20 and a 5. After several seconds she came back to the window and said you gave me too much. First off I want to say the service was very good an very helpful, an the place was clean at dinner time. I came inside to place my order to go. I ordered 8 pieces of original chicken with the extras, couldn't wait to get home an eat.
