Papa Gino's — Restaurant in Plymouth

Horrible experience. Won’t ever use this location again. I called on 11/4 to place a delivery order for a birthday party held on 11/5 and requested a 1230 delivery. Order was taken, paid in full and tipped. On day of party, received a message food would be delivered 30 mins later than requested. That time came and passed, called 45 mins later and spoke to the GM who was AWFUL, rude and not understanding of why I was upset and told me “uh I have 10 people in front of me and we are understaffed and using doordash”. There should have been prior notice or atleast understanding and offer to compensate in some way or make the situation better- not be extremely rude and give attitude to a paying customer who called the DAY PRIOR to order ahead of everyone in the restaurant for a party. All of my guests were waiting an hour longer than anticipated which is unacceptable. And the doordash driver who delivered who didn’t speak English used a translator app to tell me that it was not his fault and he was waiting for the food for almost an hour. I might request to speak to owner in regards to this situation as the GM clearly needs work in customer service and did not handle the situation well at all. Will spread this along to others and...

Newest update 8/25/22 Part of order done but not the pizza because they didn't get the ticket?? Wife had to wait an extra 25 minutes in car with upset children. Do not order online with these guys, terrible this is multiple times and chances given.

Update: increased 1 star for at least preparing order from online order this time. They were behind the time stated that's OK food was good will give another shot.

Online order that I received an email saying they got was very very behind when pickup was supposed to be. They blamed it on saying the ticket just printed out when I showed. No apology, no nada with woman at counter. Guy that brought out was nicer. Haven't had any problems with other papa Gino's. The place was quiet it wasn't like they were busy. Just admit your mistakes...

If I could give zero stars I would, ordered two small pizzas on Christmas Eve, not anything extravagant either just two simple toppings, and when I got home one was absolutely horrid. No cheese, sauce everywhere, and they barely put any of the topping. When I called for it to be remade as just a cheese I was rudely told they close in 30 minutes. So you can’t remake the order I already paid for that you disgusting made even though it only takes 15 minutes if even? A five year old could make a better pizza. Thats insane and this place is always filthy run by incompetent teenagers especially the “manager”. Place needs to have new management or be shut down, shame on all of you who work there, especially on Christmas eve. Hope your clearly bad day...
