We have been talking about going to Quintal Farmers Market for a while, but finally made it last Saturday.

It's way better than most farmer's markets in that it has a large selection of fruits and vegetables, meat and fish and no artisans selling essential oils and handmade jewelry.

The prices are better than Market Basket or Shaws, though both have a bigger selection. The quality is way better than Aldi's, prices similar. The fish is excellent quality, fresh and well priced - better than the sale prices at the regular grocers.

On 3/8/2025 we picked up a small fruit platter from Quintals for a family gathering of 13 adults and 3 children. The fruit was piled high and very fresh. The platter consisted of pineapple, watermelon, honeydew melon, cantaloupe, green grapes, red grapes and strawberries. Everything was gobbled up except for the honeydew and cantaloupe. I will enjoy that as leftovers. Thank you for an outstanding...
