Former Employee here. The drive-thru is super hit and miss. You may get parked for having a small order. Food is often made incorrectly, or missing items. The Chubbuck location is consistently better, especially if you're in a rush. Frequent difficulty with the app, and in all fairness, most are on the corporate side. Most staff are severely under trained, and the establishment consistently fails to uphold brand standards. While there are many things I can't disclose for legal reasons, I can say confidently: 1. Your experience will vary heavily, from day to day. Think bipolar and schizophrenic variance. (High highs and low lows.) 2. The drive-thru should be a priority (faster) over dine-in, but it varies day by day. 3. The customer service will usually suck, and there will frequently be new staff. 4. The bathrooms rarely ever get cleaned. 5. All hell breaks loose during the lunch rush on weekdays (when highschoolers flood the lobby) 6. Most managers run around like chickens with their heads cut off. 7. Curbside is often the best option considering the wait time (It´s not supposed to be this way) 8. Doordashes, ubers, and other deliveries have drastically variable wait times and may or may not be stolen. 9. Holidays are chronically understaffed. 10. Breakfast ends at 10:30 on weekdays, and 11:00 on weekends, and this has been true for years. (However, you may be able to sweet talk a manager into giving you breakfast if waste is high.) 11. Your fries will most likely be cold, under-filled, under salted, or old and gross. 12. If you want hot/ fresh fries, don't ask for no salt. Ask for "Cook to Order". Same is true with burgers and nuggets. (Keep in mind, you will have to wait.) 13. The Ice Cream machine may or may not be down. 14. Limited dietary...

Let me tell you something—I’ve been going to McDonald’s for over 30 years, and NEVER, not once, have I encountered someone as extraordinary as Jean. She isn’t just an employee; she’s a drive-thru LEGEND. From the moment I roll up with my code, and I hear her cheerful, welcoming voice on the mic, my whole day instantly gets better. It’s like sunshine beaming through the speaker, even on the cloudiest mornings.
Jean’s attitude? IMMACULATE. Her energy? UNMATCHED. She makes you feel like you’re not just grabbing breakfast or a coffee—you’re experiencing a moment of pure joy in a fast-food parking lot. It’s not just about accuracy (although, trust me, everything comes out perfect every time); it’s the way she makes you feel like you’re the most important person in her day. Who does that at a drive-thru? Jean does, that’s who!
McDonald’s, listen up: This woman deserves to be a MANAGER. No, scratch that—make her the CEO of Customer Happiness. If there’s anyone who could hire and inspire a team to radiate the same positivity and dedication that Jean brings to her work, it’s her. She’s got integrity, charisma, and an unmatched work ethic. She is McDonald’s magic.
As long as Jean is working at this McDonald’s, I’ll be loyal for life. I’ll drive out of my way, past 20 other McDonald’s, just to hear her voice and see her smile. She’s not just a part of my morning routine; she’s the highlight of it.
Thank you, Jean, for being the bright light in the drive-thru lane. You’re not just an employee—you’re a legend, a gem, a true superstar. McDonald’s hit the jackpot with you, and so did all of us lucky enough to meet...
Read moreThis is the second late night I went to this McDonald’s. I work late shifts at USPS and have gone here last night and today for a quick bite. The same lady working the microphone to take customer orders is by far the worst with her tone. I can just tell by her tone she doesn’t want to be there, is annoyed the fact she had to take orders and doesn’t care what so ever. I went ahead and said “hello?” In a confused tone because there was just me and another customer and I had been waiting at the order screen for a bit. She tells me sorry I was helping a customer with something. But she wasn’t nice about it at all. Sounded annoyed and like she was being bothered. Same thing happened tonight. Same lady, darker tanned skin with dark black hair and a bit more bigger but no offense . Last night when I drove in by the 2nd window she gave me a weird look like she was trying to say why are you parked like that when I was accidentally parked a small space away from the window instead of being right up against the curb. Won’t ever be going here during night if I have to deal with a worker who doesn’t want to be there and has a terrible attitude. I could hear her and the workers yelling with the sliding window #2 being shut. She must really hate her job I guess and should probably find another one that makes her happy. My bun for my double cheeseburger was all falling apart and had black char marks on the meat which made me think if she did that on purpose just because I had come a second night in a row. Very disappointing...
