Magic Wok — Restaurant in Pocono Township

Plenty of parking around the mall and a short walk around to go to the food court near the bathroom facility. I went in there with my family and we ordered, chicken Lomein, General Tso’s chicken, chicken with broccoli, and both white rice and fried rice. The serving portions is similar to what you get when you go to a Panda Express where they serve two meals and 1 side all in one syrofoam plate. The price may have been a little pricy and the appearance of the food may be different but we were amazed by the taste of them. Yeh, if you’re craving Chinese food and your near this mall, give the food a try, you will surprised by the quality and the portion size if you are either going to eat here alone or are feeding a family. The rice tasted and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke!!!

I don’t normally leave negative reviews, but I feel the need to this time.

I ordered vegetable fried rice (along with other items; see picture) from here tonight, 9/21/24, and the rice tasted and smelled like straight cigarette smoke. It was absolutely disgusting. It was so strong and caused some of my other food to smell and taste like cigarettes as well. I ended up eating a couple pieces of chicken and throwing the rest away.

I’m from New Jersey, and let’s just say this is the worst Chinese food I have ever had, and Jersey has some crappy places. I order a large order of shrimp lomein and the shrimp tasted caky and over cooked, there was literally only onion on it as far as veggies. Than I ordered general Tos chicken, and the chicken was old, dry and looked like it’s been sitting under a light or something. The cheese wontons tasted soo stale I couldn’t believe it, and those three items I spent 40 bucks on.
