Pocono No.1 — Restaurant in Pocono Township

The first and will certainly be the last visit, 05/19/2016.

I've been to many Chinese restaurants across the country but this one's the winner so far. Winner in a not-so-good way. Not that I expect too much from a Chinese restaurant but the lady working on the counter is just down right rude and didn't give two s#!t about anything. She definitely has something against other Asians. If it was possible, I'd give this restaurant negative stars. Maybe 3 negatives. The only reason they get 2 star is because the food is mediocre (0) and place was relatively clean (+1), and there's no option for negatives (-4).

Here are the facts: -Food is mediocre. You can go elsewhere and get better food and services. Yes, go elsewhere. -Clean. The facility is fairly clean. Not the cleanest but ok. Didn't smell like the oil-stain like some I've been to. -Service was horrible. I know it's really hard to rate a place with a short visit, but you'll KNOW when you're being mistreated. Like I mentioned before, she has something against other Asians coming to her restaurant. She wasn't treating the white and black customers like that while I was there. -Short, talk-down manner. Not that I expect to hear "sir & ma'am" at a Chinese restaurant, but not how she talks, either. Her English wasn't bad enough to talk in broken words, too. -No utensils. Get ready to eat with your hands or bring your own utensils. She didn't put ANYTHING else other than the food we ordered. No utensils, no sauces. When called back to complain about it, she said "OK." Not even offering to have us come back or anything. -Go elsewhere -Go elsewhere -Go elsewhere -Go elsewhere -Don't even test it,...

Absolutely horrendous. While driving to work I ate the eggroll it was average. During my break took off the lid and the smell of mildew was strong. Where ever maybe the chicken was stored or the container was mold. Thinking just maybe I was not perhaps smelling it just right I took one bite and spit it out. Called them and the woman could care less and offered me more rotten food I declined and she said she didn't know if she could give me my money back, I said I'm coming to you now for a refund. When arriving she gave me a dirty look and said you ate the eggroll I replied yes so she had the audacity to take that out of what she owed me back, are you kidding me I said, I burned up more gas driving back here for your rot gut food. I let it go but be warned the food, the employees, the place in general ...nasty. Grab a vomit bag and a bottle of pepto if you have any intentions of consuming what they are...

This restaurant should be named Pocono Number 1,000,000. The food is terrible. Ordered barbeque boneless spare ribs. They were hard 1/4" slivers of meat with very little sauce. It was like eating jerky. Ordered kung pao chicken and wanted it spicy hot. They said it was spicy. I asked if it was American spicy or Chinese spicy. They asked if I wanted it extra spicy. I said yes. It was not spicy! There was not one Chinese hot pepper in the dish. Completely lame with very little flavor. Ordered pork fried rice. Besides a few bean sprouts and onions there were no other vegetable in it. Also the pork was quite sparce in it. Order sweet and sour chicken. Over battered flavorless pieces. Ordered Happy Family. We were a very unhappy family with this dish. Avoid this place. It is one of the worst Chinese restaurants I have...
