I usually do not post……….however when something is exceptional it is definitely worth being mentioned. Last night it was a very busy Saturday night as usual at Atlantic Offshore Fishery restaurant. Since the restaurant seats patrons on a first come first serve basis we were told approximate wait time for our table of 7. including 3 year old twins, would be 2 hours. At that point we asked for cups for our adult beverages and waited on site for our table to be ready. Being as impatient as my husband is he approached the hostess and manager a few times checking our place in the queue. Although we have been to the restaurant many many times since its opening we met the most lovely and accommodating person, Giovanna the manager, for the first time this weekend. She was more than helpful and didn’t mind the multiple requests for updates on our seating. When we received our text that our table was available Giovanna made sure our table was clean, set and ready for our 3 year old twins with crayons and paper. Even though it was extremely busy and hectic she was able to find the time and patience to deal with the many special requests we had. Our meals were fantastic as usual. Our server Valerie was exceptional. But the star of the night was the manager Giovanna. She came back quite a few times to make sure everything was perfect, and it was! We even got to know more about her culture and found that both of our families immigrated from the same region. It is something remarkable when someone you have met for the very first time can make such a personal connection with you. Being small business owners ourselves we would only hope that our staff would treat our customers with such respect and gratitude. She is truly an asset to the restaurant and one of the most endearing and caring people we have ever met. We are looking forward to seeing her each weekend this season and many more to come. She has made an indelible mark on your business and should be commended for her hard work...
Read moreIf you’re looking for an unforgettable seafood experience, you need to check out Atlantic Offshore Fishery in Point Pleasant, NJ. This laid-back, shore-town fish market restaurant offers the kind of 5-star quality you’d expect in a big city, without any of the pretense.
The food here is incredibly fresh and delicious—each dish was a delight for the senses. We started with the lump crab cocktail, and it was nothing short of perfection. The crab was sweet, tender, and served in generous portions, perfectly complemented by a zesty cocktail sauce. Next, we warmed up with their lobster bisque, which was rich and creamy, bursting with chunks of lobster that melted in your mouth. It was the kind of soup that hugs your soul.
For the main course, we went with the blackened Fisherman’s Platter and the halibut. The Fisherman’s Platter was a seafood lover’s dream—a medley of blackened shrimp, scallops, and fish, all seasoned to perfection with a smoky, spicy kick that left us wanting more. The halibut was equally impressive—flaky, moist, and cooked to absolute perfection. It was served with garlic and olive oil-sautéed broccolini and paired with a white garlic cream sauce that was simply divine. The sauce added a velvety richness to the halibut without overpowering its natural sweetness.
But what really sets Atlantic Offshore Fishery apart is the service. Our server, Becky, was an absolute gem. Not only was she friendly and attentive, but she was also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She gave us some great recommendations, and each one hit the mark. You can tell she knows her stuff and genuinely cares about making sure you have the best dining experience possible.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Atlantic Offshore Fishery is a must-visit. It’s the perfect mix of laid-back shore vibes and top-tier seafood, with service that makes you feel right at home. Thanks to Becky and the whole team for making our meal one...
